Show up (done) Think it through.

In the past, a rainy day was a great excuse to check out, but because of the program and new friends, and my miracle work bud, I can still enjoy today and not look to excuses, instead excited for solutions. Did basics, appt. tonite. Calls

Thanks for being here.

Good day all!

got off to a good start today with a productive staff meeting. Now I'm writing up the notes. Tempted to procrastinate because it's not very interesting, but kept at it. Proud of myself for that.

Have a number of small tasks hanging, but I'll have to find time later to take care of them, because I'm afraid if I get off this task I may not get back on it!

Back to work...

check in and showing up for today - tracy-la

Good morning everyone,

My very basic list:

 1.  checking in / telephone call / reading material  - done

2. check calendar - done

3.  plan to plan - done

4.  gratitude exercise - done

As extra, did 15 min on billing first thing in morning - done. Going to a long overdue physical (it's been 2 years) which even though in excellent health is preventive maintenance work - making sure nothing is there I can't see.

Drizzly day but great for running which I will do now.

 Quote for day:

Whatwill you do today that will make you real proud? Is it a long overdue meaningful call to someone? Is it an anxiety causing task you have avoided for months? Is it the first or second hour of focus on that bookyou know you need to write? What you do today will shape a contented smile on your face as you rest your head on that pillow tonight. Seize your moments this day!

checking back in

medical appt didn't go as expected. got there 15 min late and doctor was on call and needed to leave for hospital. so needed to reschedule. probably lateness wouldn't have mattered on most days as it was going to be a 45 min appt -- but it is a reminder why being on time or early is better. now i need to reschedule. i booked the new time.

used the time to go shopping (which i don't care for) for bulk household items at costco.

it was not my most productive day for sure but i will keep plugging away as it is only 6:20 pm here today.

Went back over some things I

Went back over some things I want to work on. Have made a list for tonight. Housekeeper has flu and didn't come today. Will resist temptation to do her work (while avoiding my own) but will do some laundry while I am working on my backlog.

Journey noon

Well a bit late to be checking in lol, busy morning.   I did get a bit of a late start today after working this weekend, but that's ok, and I'm taking tomorrow off woot.   I'm babysitting the grandkids for half the day but I can use the rest of the day to catch up on housework.  Today I have to get through all the change management stuff for this coming weekend, and do a bunch of paperwork for my major project.   The morning was taken up with a meeting about this weekend.   I bailed on toastmasters today, I'm just too busy, although I did find some time to procrastinate anyway.  Figured I better check in to get myself back on track.
