Procrastinators Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from chronic procrastination.
Not a bad day, yet staying grateful does not come automatically for me. At least I "know" somewhere in my head that it needs to be part of my recovery. and I am grateful for that. Somewhere I read that the angels are constantly praising God, I wonder if it is hard for God to stay grateful, especially when he sees what a mess humans have made. Maybe that is why we need to stay grateful, so the mess can get cleaned up, otherwise it gets worse.
Grateful I can check in here and be accepted and accepting and hopeful.

4. Gratitude practice/exercise - done. Apart from thanking the universe/HP for this journey and day -- sent a thank you email for a gift that was given to me last week this morning.
Apart from being grateful to the universe/HP - working on showing those in my life my gratitude or that I am thinking of them. Last week I sent 2 handwritten notes - one a thank you note to a woman who recommended me as a speaker on a panel & the other a sympathy note to the father of a former client as the former client had passed away.
3 Quotes for day (gratitude and knowledge and amusing):
1. "Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, problems into gifts, failures into successes, the unexpected into perfect timing. Gratitude turns negative energy into positive energy. There is no situation or circumstance so small or large that it is not susceptible to gratitude's power. Say thank you, until you mean it. If you say it long enough, you will believe it."
I am grateful for my procrastination. [this what i need to say long enough till I believe it :) It brought me here and on this spiritual journey. It has helped make me humble. Perhaps it was the universe's gift since I did not want to become an alcoholic like my mother.
2. Knowledge. Learn to let yourself be guided into truth. We will know what we need to know, when we need to know that. We don't have to feel badly about taking our own time to reach our insights. We don't have to force insight or awareness before it's time. Yes! Maybe the whole world saw a particular truth in our life, and we denied it -- until we were ready to deal with it. That is our business, and our right! Our process is our own, and we will discover our truths at the right time, when we are ready, when the learning experience is complete. The most growth-producing concept we can develop for ourselves and others is to allow ourselves to have our own process.
Today, I will let myself and others have our own pace and time schedule for growth and change. I will trust that I will be empowered with insights and the tools for dealing with these insights, at the right time.

Wow. I've managed to get up early again. However, I am not doing a good job of utilizing this 'found time' in the mornings. I'm not really procrastinating, but I could be getting stuff done. Need to make a list of things to work on the night before so I don't have to think about it in the morning.
One thing I can work on this a.m. is organizing the list of personal tasks that I have made out. I've got 20 minutes before others wake up. That is enough time to make progress.
