OK, slept a bit late this morning (OK, I had been short on sleep) and then decided that since I was already late I might as well surf for a whle (not OK, I hadn't been short on surfing :P )

For today, I've mostly finished my presentation so I mostly need to study:
*Go through sheet of techniques (started)
*Finish biochem studying
*Homologous recomb.

And if I have more time:
*Paper on sc
*Outline poster

Also I need to do some non-work tasks:
Prayer time, breakfast, cleaning, answer emails

OK, going to start w/ prayertime, then techniques studying

Journey 9 am

Happy Saturday!  I'm on vacation ... and I have a confession to make.   I don't really like  being on vacation.   I like to feel that I have important things to do and a week of not being needed is kind of stressful to me.   I know that I need the break, and I'll get some stuff done around the house and spend some time relaxing too.   But a week ahead of me with nothing that has to be done is a little scary.

Today I'm going to the lake with the kids/grandkids so that will be fun!  Before I leave, I'm going to make a list of things that I would like to get done this week, and also a list of fun things that I'd like to do for myself.   Then I'll do some triage and figure out which of those things I'll really do.

I'm slipping back into prolonged hours of self-indulgence, from PC games to reading, etc. Going to stay away from distractions and try to get back into productivity mode. Kind of intimidating.
