Procrastinators Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from chronic procrastination.

little by little

I'm working on a research project, and have lost momentum.   I've had it in the past, but largely in concentrated bursts.

One of my largest chronic anxieties is that my 'un-done' becomes 'too-late,' which leads me to create protective walls around what needs my attention most.  Since I keep enacting this pattern,  I'm hoping to shift this.

In honor of starting with the small, doable beginnings: Exploring this site a bit I've read that setting up small intervals of time can be helpful, instead of waiting to find a 3-4 hour writing blocks.  So that's what I'm trying this week.

Goal for my project this week:  Contact at least 6 participants for interviews.

Goal for the semester: Rough draft of findings chapter submitted.

Will check in here to keep track of how the little by little is working out.

thanks for the welcome

From your quote journey, considering what I'm becoming then... often lately I've been thinking about how to get and keep energy for my research project. So I'm leaning forward...trying to remember to feed my passion more than my fears/delays.
