Realized this weekend that I am not on the sidelines, and just "watching" everyone.

Recycler CI 5pm EST

Hi Pro Buddies,

I don't know if trying a CI will be helpful to me. I am mostly off-line these days.

5:18pm. I started a load of clothes in the washer. I took a bag of trash to the dumpster. Zones 1-4 are clear.

5:37pm. Put load of clothes in the dryer.

6:40pm. Put away dried clothes. That's all for now. Have a great night, everyone.

Hope-Faith CI #1 3/21/10

Today I really want to just do nothing but hang out with kids and do nothing. But I have to resist. Yesterday I did finish my taxes, it was actually a binge but on the nonprocrastination side of the equation I did spend about 10 min a day for 21 days working on getting all my paper work together and organized so that when I sat down to warp it all up all I had to do was JUST DO IT. 10 min a day actually worked. So moving onward. Here was what I need to get done.

  1. AM Routine
  2. AM Other Task
  3. Paperwork
  4. Weekly Planning
  5. Ball Practice
  6. PM Routine
  7. PM Other Task

I really want to spend some time outside it is so beautyful. I am heading over to chat.

Progress yes I say progess I do not have any comitments for about an hour so I am going to tackel some items that are not a part of routine.

Back from practice on to pm routine first task supper and weekly planning

Done for the day

Helen's checkin

Today is my day off. Here I will do the some things but not struggle. I give myself permission to do as I please today. I procrastinate, seriously self sabotage, about my CV and study plan so I am making a small start on both of these. Next week I will sign on to temp agencies and get a job (hopefully)! I will also make sure that I make my study assignment. (1st April)

I might well do more with the day today but I can goof off if I want to without giving myself a hard time. I have been working for 6 days straight so  I feel one day not fighting the fight is fair enough.

movingalong cultivating a new way of life

Hello all.

Happy Sunday, everyone!

Hoping to cultivate new habits of joy, serenity, and productivity this week.

Will commit this week to doing a time log. Will try to observe my patterns with serenity.

If there is sadness, I will feel it at it comes ... while also remembering that Higher Power can lead me to joy.

Will commit to adding more spiritual joy to my week. Will try to be thankful for tedious tasks.

Every day really is a new beginning.

Happy Sunday, everyone!

It works when we "work it". Let's do whatever it takes to find recovery. All are welcome.

No obligation to attend. No need to "report in". No attendance taken.

Come when you feel called to come!

All are welcome!

Meeting follows traditional anonymous 12-step format.

"Meetings Chatbox" can be found after fully entering regular check-in chatbox ... and then clicking on the "meetings" tab at the top of the chatbox.

If you have trouble entering Meeting Chatbox, or if you can see us there but are unable to communicate with us, see this post:

Those of you who have clock changes, remember that
the MEETING remains on STANDARD time year round.
This meeting does not change alongside the clocks.

(This means that for some of you, the meeting might seem to be
an hour "off" from where it was before the clocks changed.)

Here follow upcoming time changes in some time zones:
(This will impact you ONLY if your locale goes in and out of Daylight Savings Time)

  • USA/Canada Eastern Time Zone:
    NOTE TIME !!!
    Sunday, note time NOW at:
3:30 PM, USA/Canada Eastern DAYLIGHT Time, Sunday
  • British Time:
    Sunday, through 21st March 2010:
7:30 PM British STANDARD Time, Sunday
  • British Time:
    Sunday, starting 28th March 2010:
8:30 PM British DAYLIGHT Time, Sunday
  • Sydney Australia Time:
    Mondays through 29th March, 2010:
6:30 AM Sydney Australia DAYLIGHT Time, Monday
  • Sydney Australia Time:
    Mondays beginning 4th April, 2010:
5:30 AM Sydney Australia STANDARD Time, Monday
  • New Zealand Time:
    Mondays through 29th March, 2010:
8:30 AM New Zealand DAYLIGHT Time, Monday
  • New Zealand Time:
    Mondays beginning 4th April, 2010:
7:30 AM New Zealand STANDARD Time, Monday

Online P.A. meeting remains UTC Standard Time year round.

This is because we have people in all different time zones -- all over the planet
-- northern and southern hemispheres --
with different regions changing in and out of daylight time on differing weeks.
So therefore we don't change with the clocks. We leave the meeting at UTC Standard Time year-round.
