Vic 3/9

Show up (done)

Had jury duty today. Actuallt got there on time!!

One more paper for son's cyberschool- so happy, got letter that cut off date is March 13, if I would have waited any longer, it would have been too late and all the work I would have done would have to be repeated.

Next- tax information- tht is how I got here last year. It will be interesting to compare myself to myself last year.

Hope to walk. Thanks for being here.

hope4meandu check-in (11:00AM)

Hi Buds,

I'm happy to report that operation clean up my relationships and my house are going well yesterday and today.

I have 3 really hard amends, which I'm so not looking to, but I did a major one this a.m. Thankfully, after sending out a few, I received a nice call from one of them. YAY!! Why do I think, I'll now be perfect in the future and never have to make another amends again?

Had this horrid dream of my family hating me and my fighting back in a huge and horrible way (which was the way it was)- Guess I'm on the right track?

I did:
-cleaned hallway stairs
-Amends: R.E., P.I., R.Z., E.K., E.K.,

To do:
-meeting
-contact E.H.
-contact Mutual
-bank account
-check circular for sales
-jeweler after work & food shopping
-go through paperwork near stairs (not willing)
-clean walls in stairwell

Amends:
-B.F.

Have been putting off:
-will make a black & white flyer, print 10, and put it in 10 people's mailboxes tonight.

Also, praying for HP's help for my Yoffee's health, I will continue to pray on a daily basis, as I feel lost as to what to do next to get her well.

Kind regards!!

Journey 10 am & update - bad day

Working from home today.  I went to the gym and ran an errand after the gym, had breakfast and . . . .then goofed off for an hour (facepalm).  But anyway, I did start to work about 9 and I'm listening to a really boring conference call right now.

UPDATE 5:30 Well, today was pretty bad.   I had three long meetings and I didn't even try to multi-task during them or fit work in between them.   I feel tired today and I think I'm gonna call it a day and go make dinner . . . tomorrow's another day.

So far up 7 am (a little late but better than I've been doing recently), healthy bfast, packed lunch+dinner + did dishes, prayer/bible time, in lab.

Today is a pretty scheduled day (lab mtg 10-11:30, class 1-2:30, OH 7-9), but I have time for work in between. If I have time, I'd like to go dancing for a little while after OH

First step is to make a schedule for the week. Then I'll know what I need to get done today and I can update by CI

Update 10

MITs are:
*Basic Gibbs test, ask about pts (working on this now)
*Proc samples for EA
*Analyze biosensor data, make slide
*Bug AvO

Other tasks are:
*budgeting
*cleaning

Heading to lab mtg now.

Helen's check-in

Again I have woken up tired so I have decided not to call Sunday my day off but rather today. I was in a workshop all day on Sunday which was great but intensive

and tiring. Today I will

1. Do at least as much washing up as I need to cook a great meal.

2. Take my DVD to the library to avoid the fine (maybe)

3. Sleep, read, watch DVD's, rest, maybe catch up on friends email.

4. Buy a cheap calendar and start to monitor my teeth cleaning routine so I don't cheat .Goal : 90 consecutive days through teeth cleaning at least once a day.

You know as I write this I feel guilty like I am supposed tp battle procrastination every day. I am writing a permission slip to myself. I am allowed one day a week where I do not have to force myself to do anything I do not want to do. I am allowed this day regardless of how successful I have been in the following week in my battle against procrastination. I am allowed to feel good about my successes and also to feel good about my attempts even if they didn't reach my standards. Any step is a good step. Right?

My average procrastination score this week is 3 stars (Adequate day, hit some goals, missed some, worked a decent amount) and I was ill for most of it and yet my default response to a day off from it is guilt.

 Hmm.

Helen, WELL DONE. Allowing

Helen, WELL DONE. Allowing yourself rest is a huge weapon in the fight against procrastination. By doing this, you ARE fighting. :)

Rest is important

Rest is important

Sometimes I remember to list it

Rexroth

Good for you ((Helen)), sounds like recovery!!

And you gave me the idea and permission to schedule in downtime - thank you!!
