Drew #1 (10:30 PM)

This is my first ever check in!! Woo hoo! I don't think it's the right time of day to do it (or proabably the wrong thread), but I can't put this off any longer! haha

Hopefully, this will be the start of something new and useful, and that will last even once the novelty of it rubs off.

1. Complete ISS Research Proposal by 2:30pm

2. Study 15 pages of earth system science notes by 4pm

3. Update Facebook group by 9pm

4. Be asleep by 10:30 PM

The only thing that'll be really difficult is goal #1, but it's due on friday in the morning so I gotta get it done.

Welcome. The novelty never wears off because there is always something new.

Welcome Drew

You're in the right place, in more ways than one!

Journey noon

I've done all my admin stuff and now it's time to start project work.  I'm wanting to give in to distraction rather than figure out what I need to do on the project and get started on it.   I'll work on Project V for 45 minutes then check back.

UPDATE 4:30 Well I didn't check back in 45 but I did work on Project V, attended two more meetings, and now I'm working on Project V for 25 more minutes and then close out they day with a couple of administrative tasks.

A much better day today :)

hope4meandu (10:47AM) - update (1:43PM) Thanks Lucky

Hi Commrads,

Grateful to be doing amends, but I just did one that I feel bad about because I'm worried about how these guys are doing today. As is my usual, I don't like to get involved, but maybe it's about time. I'm also surprisingly plowing through them, but need to stop for today. Also, grateful to be getting so much done & for my new, easy job.

To do:
-call p.t. and schedule appt.
-balance checkbook
-call Mom 1 & 2
-email M directions
-contact B about Y's meds
-email fts, for ride
-bring ring to jeweler
-print out emails for GM
-get A's number & call set up plans
-call G
-answer V's email
-make up flyers (even if not perfect) and distribute
-check circulars - where to get cheap p.b
-call R.S (buff)
-call hubby if cancelling

Cleaning if I am home:
-walls in stairwell
-finish sweeping
-clean 1 bedroom
-wash S
-D.A. meeting

-R. P.

Safe travels mi amigos!!

3.10.10 ci Babarino

I have 12 tasks. Finished two already. Going to try to complete seven more before lunch.

Thank you all for being here.

Are you "named" for Vinnie Barbarino in Welcome Back Kotter or am I dating myself?

Not sure where it came

Not sure where it came from-it was a nickname someone gave me. ;)

Got two more tasks done before lunch, not seven, oh well. Four done for the day. Can't work miracles.

Finished five tasks. Seven more to go. Probably not going to get done by end of day.

3:19pm-finished six tasks. Have six tasks left. will try to push through. God help me.

4:58-finished 8 tasks. have four mroe left.

removed one task from list because it is unnecessary-only three more left

kromer 9:30 CI

Scheduled for the day--not much, just bible study 8:30-10ish. If I have time, I'd also like to go to a seminar 5-7, but that's not critical.

Biggest task for today is to finish my part of the pset grading. This will probably take most of the day, and that's OK.

I also have a number of smaller tasks which need to get done:
*Clean up lab nb/bench/etc.
*Email about scheduling
*Send CV

Then, I have a number of lower-priority tasks:
*Analyze biosensor data, make slide
*Redo seq
*Finish proc samples
*Start gene specificity analysis

OK, emailing about scheduling now, then I'll work on grading. I'll work on grading until lunchtime, then I'll give myself a break to work on sth else for a few hours after lunch.

CI Hope-Faith 6:15

  2. Call for Fill
  3. Call for 1 year
  4. Call for Braces
  5. Computer
  6. F/F
  7. Test
  8. Lesson Plans for sub

K I am at work now and I have to first address some routine stuff. Once I finish my routine up to prep for 4th I will begin to work on this list.

Off I go I have a very busy day ahead. Good Luck to all.

Journey 6 am &

Well, yesterday sucked.  I felt very tired all day, did nothing on my todo list, and went to bed at 8 pm.  I didn't even stay up to watch American Idol!  So, I'm forgiving myself for having a bad day, as I did feel genuinely tired, and I'll make today a better day with your help.   Thanks Lucky for starting us out and the wishes for a good day!  Some days you're the frog, some days you are the mouse, today I'm the mouse.

I needed to check in early today and start off the day On Track.   Now I'm going to exercise, and I will check in very frequently today!

UPDATE: 9 am exercise done, quick check of email then shower.

UPDATE: 10:30 shower and conference call done, now finishing up todo list for the rest of the day

the mouse and the frog

explanation of the mouse and the frog picture, this picture was taken in India during a monsoon, and the assumption was that the frog was carrying the mouse through the deep (for a mouse) water.   So today you guys are carrying me!

♥"Prayers for my Yoffee's complete & speedy recovery and prayers for direction & clarity on how she can be healed.)♥

Thank you for sharing. I don't know what being a mouse or a frog means- don't think I want to be either. We all have thoses days and it is so wonderful to be able to share them. This too shall pass, whether you forgive yourself or not, give yourself permission or not, so why suffer, you may as well forgive yourself and give yourself permission, acceptance does not mean we have to like it.

we are growing together.

As a compulsive overeater it's an interesting discovery to see that some days I'm really hungry and I don't understand why, it wasn't that way the day before. The body seems to have it's own rythymn, and it takes courage & trust for me to listen.

By being the example of forgiving yourself & moving on, will make it easier for me the next time I have a bad day, thanks!!

thanks Hope!

It's been hard to learn to allow myself to have a bad day once in a while without heading into the downward spiral but you know what?  Even regular people have a bad day sometimes lol  ::jawdrop::

Rexroth Check In

Thanks for starting the thread Lucky

Up emails

Out for hair cut
Bath and wash hair
Check forms and make appointment for identity card interview

and whatever next...

Regards Rexroth

Rexroth Update

Above - I got my hair cut for the photo for the ID card and they can't see me until mid April - at least I got it done early
Received post - letter from court which I don't understand so added it to the latest letter from my solicitor which I don't understand either. I can't find the file which contains a letter from me which I did understand when I wrote it and wonder if I or the solictor would now. Phoned and made an appointment with the solcitor for next week.
Put on washing
Filed letter from MP about hospital complaint

I feel tired and fed up.

Find the file which actually should be easy to do when my head is clearer.
Email solicitor to remind him about me collecting some files preferably when I see him next week

Rest and think...

Rexroth Check Out

Decided not to email solicitor, found file which I had not recognisied as label had come off.

Cooked supper and food for freezer and listened to radio and still feel confused.

Night Folks

Thank you Lucky

And (((Lucky)))

7. Sleep

8. Wash up and eat

9. Clean teeth properly
