OK, I'm feeling really fried. I had a really tough deacon's mtg at church today that went very late, and now there's all this work I'm supposed to get done that's just not going to happen.

So, here's a realistic plan:
1)Ask about genotyping, make plan to fix
2)Look at interesting genes
3)Post pset
5)Write up GSEA, gene results
6)Make schedule for next week

If I have extra time, I'll clean the bathroom this evening. I could also make a couple of solutions in lab. As a break, I'll talk to AG if he's around.

OK, going to go ask about genotyping now.

Show up (done)  Love the starter, coming here helps me get in touch with the silence within myself.

“If my problems have brought me to prayer, then they have served a purpose.” (pg. 161 June 9, quoted from Courage to Change, One Day at a Time in Al-Anon II)

Speaking with a friend, she heard a phrase that helped with my thinking. She spoke of finding "Our New Normal" because we are alive and we are in different stages of our lives, finding a "new normal" feels better (for me) than thinking What is wrong with me?

Also would like to share a step study website for all addictions:          I think it will help me find my "New Normal"

hope4meandu check-in (9:33AM)

Hi Fellows,

Today I am going to the Dentist with my husband and it will be a long treck.

We owe IRS almost $2,000 and I'm not working!! I will talk to my 401k person, but I'm hoping to not debt, but it seems the only way to go. Grateful to be on a DA meeting now, I haven't been keeping my numbers, haven't had a PRG in years and all I'm doing is just listening. I have a hard time sharing live or on the phone, but at least I'm on the call.

I've been thinking of going back to school to become a vet tech. The college is a long distance away...

I also see so clearly that I have to start cleaning up my past, so I will start looking for old workers, work addresses, etc...I feel ready to clean things up. I really see I won't go forward unless I go back. I have already imperfectly been in this process, so now I just have to step it up.

To do:
-Yoffee's insurance
-Yoffee's ears
-Yoffee's nails
-get words to music

Journey 12:15 am

Well, I never checked in today and I'm working now (midnight - 6 am Sunday mornign is when we can take the computers down), so I figured I'd go ahead and start today's thread!

Today was a busy day, I got a slow start after feeling ill thursday and friday, but once I got going today was a good day!  Bought groceries, cooked dinner for the kids, cleaned up the kitchen, got stuff ready for midnight downtime, and now getting my work done.  I'll take some time to wind down after working and then sleep late tomorrow.  The grandkids were both fussy tonight and really tired us out.  I was kinda glad when they went home

Have a great Sunday you guys!
