Rexroth check in

Not a good day. I'm having problems like a blocked kitchen sink and a heating system that seem about to fail. I've done some work and finished nothing.

I'm powerless over it all

Admitting you're powerless is a step, right? :) I'm praying for HP to help you out. *more hugs*

check-in

Have been wasting my day on the computer putting off what I need to do.

I feel like I'm hanging on by a thread.

My girl can't play in the snow because of her bronchitis, very depressed, so is she. Snow is the only thing that brings her immense joy....I'm immensely sad.

Things I need to do today:
get my website up and running and get it on the popular place I know about in my area
cancel website that isn't good for what I need and go on the vistaprint site which is so easy.

cleaning:
bathroom
refrigerator
sweep

My new portable washing machine didn't empty the water out completely last time, so I haven't done anything about trying to fix it...feel very stuck and in sludge.

Take my girl out again and see what she can do.

Show up (done)                                    December 20   Overcoming Self-Obsession"In living the steps, we begin to let go of our self-obsession."B Text p.94
That self-centeredness doesn't cease just because we stop using .When we find ourselves feeling unloved or ignored, we can offer the love and attention we need to someone else. In giving, we receive much more in return - and that's a promise we can trust.Just for today: I will share the world with others, knowing they are just as important as I am. I will nourish my spirit by giving of myself.

Pray I may overcome my fear of people and get to 10am woman's meeting.

Hi Vic

Was trying to send you pretty graphics, but some times they don't work. Do you find that or am I doing something wrong?

Anyway, I get so much from your shares and relate a lot to you, I'm sure others feel the same way.

I'm rooting for you!!

♥"Together we could do, what we could not do alone.♥

Hope

Thank you. Thank you for your kind words. I did not get to that meeting, I did go on the phone meetings. I just need to accept who/where I am. I guess if you knew the kind of family I grew up in with current abuse from my 2 sisters, one could understand why the world is such a scary place for me. I am grateful I got this far and am not alone and can experience kindness in people. and yes, sometimes do have problems with the graphics.

Take care,

Vic

Oh, Vic, I so understand

I suffered from my family of origin and these patterns continue to haunt me in my life today.

Maybe that's why I relate so much to you. I too feel very grateful when I run into kindness...it's healing for me.

Bravo for going on the phone meeting. Please know I'm in your corner...trying also to show up one day at a time.

Good Morning All

It is almost Sunday here another 15 min and the 19th will be officially over. Working late tonight. Multi task tonight (Wash clothes and organize my Christmas Purchases)

  • Washing machine finally took its last spin on Tuesday bought a new one today so I have a major 4 foot pile up of clothes.
  • My computer has been ill for awhile I have finally insisted that they replace the mother board and power supply the hard drive was replaced on Saturday of this past week but it still crashes. So needless to say without my computer I do not have all of my Christmas stuff organized in a spreadsheet like I usually have. So in between loads of clothes I will work on getting it all together.
  1. Load of clothes washing and drying (3 already done)
  2. In process of getting presents together.
  3. Presents are all sorted list written for a couple of extra items to pick up.
  4. Next wrap christmas eve presents
  5. Last load of clothes in wash
  6. All other loads have been folded and put away except the socks. ):
  7. Surf web for a couple of items
  8. Made dough for truffles -- in frig role into balls in about 1 hour
  9. 15 min pick up house and think
