Recycler 8:20pm EST

Hi Pro Buddies!

This morning at the gym I did my stairmaster, stretching and ab exercises. Someone had taken all the yoga straps from the stretching room -- Grrrr. Tomorrow I'm bringing a Yoga Strap from home, & will keep it in my locker, to prevent begin stranded with no yoga strap again.

At work this morning: while other circumstances can have an influence, having the prioritized assignment list helps make a huge positive difference.

At lunchtime went to a study group. My afternoon was more divided between emails and projects. Ended the work day by updating my assignment list for tomorrow & highlighting it. I feel very hopeful!!!

After work I brought things to the condo, then ate dinner with a group before class. I thought I was ready for Forgiveness Class, but it is coming to seem more and more like ideas for future use. There are one or more areas in my life where I thought I was ready, but evidently not yet. However, I am learning helpful concepts in the class, so that's a start.

Now at home, I am surfing the Internet a little before sleeping. Thurs/Fri/Sat/Sun are Big Days for my hobby, so I am bookmarking sites for information.

Have a great night, everyone! :)

e's check in

Good morning, or rather, good afternoon, all. I had a stop and start this morning due to interrupted sleep last night, so after the dog woke me this morning and I started doing the dishes, I fell asleep for 3 hours and did not get up until almost 11. My inclination is to be upset at myself for having not accomplished what I had hoped, but I am not going to do that today. Life happens, and I can pick up from here. I also fell asleep before taking last nights medication, so I expect that I am off schedule and need some time for my medications to get back on track. The dog is under the weather as well, so after this morning's walk we will take it easy.

Yesterday I accomplished a lot at my sister's house on her paperwork and I would like to do more, but I think I need to commit to working on my own stuff today. If I get caught up I will go over and do some more tonight.

Today: bills and paperwork, dinner, laundry, dishes and do some stretching: my body feels achey. I would also like to get other things into the car for a bunch of errands tomorrow.

For now, bringing the dog inside because he is barking up a storm!

e's Wed. checkback

dog is in, phone call to friend made, ate some stew. Now opening mail.

all but 8 dishes washed. I am having a hard time standing in front of the sink for lengths at a time. going to make some tea and then stretch my back.

I feel better for having eaten some apple crisp :)
what I have yet to work on: laundry, swish and wipe bath, finish the dishes, groceries, paperwork. I don't feel like getting off the couch yet, so I think I will go through the paperwork.

7pm check back: the day fell apart on me: nothing got accomplished because I started to feel sick: I ended up sleeping on the couch for most of the afternoon and continue to feel lucky. I am disappointed because I had made such progress previous days. Tonight my goal is to get to bed early, drink liquids and encourage my son to balance work and play today.

good night for now

Good day sunshine (3)

I need to laugh, and when the sun is out
I've got something I can laugh about
I feel good, in a special way
I'm in love and it's a sunny day

Good day sunshine (3)

We take a walk, the sun is shining down
Burns my feet as they touch the ground

Good day sunshine (3)

Then we lie beneath a shady tree
I love her and she's loving me
She feels good, she know she's looking fine
I'm so proud to know that she is mine

Good day sunshine

nice timer OCz thanks!

Spirit 9/29

Bravo for the morning thread started, it is great.  Reminds me there is sunshine.  Well today I continue to find solutions to my biggest challenges.  I can honestly say I have not procrastinated so that in and of itself is a good thing.  I give gratitude to for that to HP and all who show up here and honestly share.

I have an appt at 11 so I will leave for that now and posts tasks after lunch as I have several business errands to run outside of office following that appt.

Good luck to all on my morning.

Thanks Kromer for the sunshine today!!

Missed you, I'm back (hopefully). Today is day 3 of not calling in sick. I really need to focus on my job today and get lots of work done. I need your support and will be checking in (hopefully) throughout the day. We are also moving, YAY, so I've lots of personal stuff to do as well. I'll take nerves over depression any day!!

Wishing you all safe and easy travels today.

My plan is to start with the things I don't have problems doing and work towards the troublesome stuff later.

Your friend in recovery,

GeorgeSmiley 8 AM + Updates

I've continued to be mired in work avoidance the last several days.

Yesterday The War of Art arrived (I'd ordered it with a gift card from my sister-in-law). I read it once before and put it on my list of books to buy.

It is a really good kick in the @$$. Thanks to pro for recommending it a long time ago.

So today I'm going to move forward and do what I have to do and I'm going to make myself accountable to you all here. But first I will apologize for not having accepted the gift of accountability that this place offers. I've been turning my back on that gift for months.

I will now make one check of my personal email and return in 10 minutes to offer my agenda for the day.

Update, 8:30 AM

10 minutes was probably unrealistic.

I am back now.

Main project is Project U.

There may be work coming back to me on Project T and Project M-09.

Project P-12 is on the shelf until Project U is finished. I expect to focus on P-12 at the end of next week when I return from several days away.

I do need to stop and see if there's a relevant task for Project PFB.

Then on to Project U.

Update 9:10 AM

Did the Project PFB task.

Now Project U. Getting a coffee warmup.

Then to chatbox

Journey 8:45 & update

Good morning!  I've been to the gym, stopped by the grocery store (again!) and pumpkin muffins are in the oven.   I love working at home, and I feel that I've learned to be productive at home - most of the time, anyway!

I have a 9 am conference call so I'll straighten my desk and get ready for the call, then make my todo list after.  DD is back home and she is cooking tonight, so I have the night off from kitchen duty.

Update 6 pm work day is done, as usual didn't get as much done as I wanted but it was a pretty good day.   See ya tomorrow!
