Happy Friday. I have a headache, I'm in a bad mood, and I have back to back meetings until 3 pm. Bah. At least I can't procrastinate because I have to show up at these meetings. Why so many meetings on a Friday? Grrrrr.
Well, this is not a real inspirational post is it lol?

Well, I'm up, dressed, "coffeed", and ready to start. I did get some good stuff done yesterday. I feel like the task list is huge, but I am trying to keep my life simple, focusing on what I have pre-ordained as important to me, and letting go of the rest. Which includes getting rid of a lot of extra posessions. (Time-consuming - and you know, purchasing them was often a way of procrastinating on what was really important - my design work. I would skip school and go shopping, not work at my studio and go shopping. I think letting them go will be a relief - stop looking at them and dwelling on it!)
I'm a little sad today. Two of my siblings and my elderly uncle are going behind my back and making plans for my house (owned by my mom and uncle.) My part of the problem is that I procrastinated on getting the contract for deed paperwork done, and procrastinated on finding a better-paying job.
Well, here's my phone call about my possible new job. Gonna run,
OK, main task for today is to look at associations data and make a slide on what I observe.
I also want to do 1 problem from NLP pset, do website updates, return emails, and look into CLICK chemistry
OK, now I'm going to start by looking at which associations are conserved. To do this, I need to make a script that will read in my data file and make graphic of associations and lengths. I'm pretty weak on graphics programing, so this could be challenging. However, I think that ultimately it'll be more efficient than doing it by hand. Heading to chatbox to work on this.
Good morning, back in the office today. I've been to the gym, read email and checked calendar and now I'm sitting here wanting to surf the net instead of getting to work! I'm going for a cup of tea and then I'll allow myself to read the news online for 5 minutes while I drink tea, then making my todo list. Check back here before 10 to say todo list is made and I'm working on the first task.
Update 11 am. Did I say 10? I meant 11. Finishing up a conference call now, then I'll take a few minutes for quiet time/journal. I've been spotty in taking quiet time lately (and I haven't been in the workbook for a couple weeks Vic!). I know that taking a few minutes to read and meditate makes a huge difference in my attitude each day so why don't I do it daily? . argghhh. lol.
Update 12:45 unexpected task came in just as I was writing the above. I have a meeting in 15 minutes, so now is a good time to take that qt!
Update 2:30 I have an unpleasant task to do now. I don't wanna do it. But here goes. I'll check back when I'm done. should be done by 4 pm. It will feel really good when it's done right?
Update 3:00 Part 1 of 4 done.
Update 3:30 Part 2 of 4 done. Parts 3 and 4 are easy, assuming the BIC approves Parts 1 and 2.
Update 4:30 Done! except for mailing out, which has to wait for the BIC's approval and probably some changes but still, DONE!

the fact that i'm here at 8:04 and i've already had my quiet time is a miracle. It does not feel like 'me'.

Show up(done) Need to fit in walk today. I am going overboard in the cyberschool help for my son (as usual) with my codependency, at my expense. I did not have time to walk, even do dishes, while he was out playing because he was "done" I know he is not going to like that I tell him I need to take care of myself and "I" make the schedule, so here it goes.
Just checking in. Got my walk in. My Higher Power is really working out Cyber school -so many miracles, including healing relationship with my son. Showing up here every day made it all possible. After we catch up, I can be here more. Miss everyone, Vic

I am going to take my car to be serviced this morning, so I'm doing that before work instead of my workout. I will still go to the gym, but only to shower & get ready for work. I'm going to putter around here a bit before it's time to go to the Auto Shop. I hope to update my CI later.
7:20pm. I'm seeing a red x today on the threadstarter I posted, so I'm not sure what's up with that. ((sigh))
Before gym, I easily got the car to the Auto Shop. In talking with customer service, it needed less procedures than I thought, so that is good. At gym, I arrived in time to shower & get ready for work, so that was good, too. In the building lobby, Regular Flu Shots were available, so I was able to get mine with practically no waiting.
This morning at work, I kept plugging at my assignment list. I was able to time my use of machines when no one else needed the equipment, so that was good.
At lunchtime, I heated & ate something from the freezer, then got my car. The routine maintenance was enough, & they didn't find any major repairs to be needed, so that is good!
In the afternoon, tasks were a little more involved. I worked in priority order, got the deadline things done, and made notes for things that are carrying over to a future time. At the end of the day, I highlighted my assignment list for priorities in the morning. After work I clocked out, then stayed a little late to work on a volunteer project.
Back at home, so far I've started 2 loads in the clothes washer & 1 load in the dishwasher. I'm trying to get a headstart on weekend chores.
While all's well that ends well, today has been a little overwhelming, so I'm going to veg/putter for a while.
Hobby news is appearing, but so far nothing to wreck my spending plan ;) Yet ;)
9:20pm. I've refreshed Hobby News throughout the evening. The final news of the day has come through.
Other things are on my mind. Before sleeping I'm going to take a few minutes to focus on some inspirational literature.
