Ag's routine realities
I am posting these to remind myself of certain realities that go wanting when I am bored, overexcited or anxious - all contributors to my procrastination addiction.
Morning routine actually takes 90 minutes IF I stay well focused:
Evening routine takes about 4 hours:
Assuming I really mean to work an honest 8 hour billable day, I really need to be working by 8am every day. I count my PA check-ins as work time because this is when I prioritize my work tasks each day, like an alternative to having a live supervisor in an office (only nicer!). So I cannot possibly sleep past 6:30 am and meet these reality requirements.
Assuming I really need an honest 8 hours of sleep every night, I cannot possibly stay up past 10:30pm and meet these reality requirements.
Assuming I really am a human being (pretty sure there), I really need some margin time also so I am going to structure in three 30-minute margins: between morning routine and the start of my work day, between work-end and my evening routine, and between evening routine and a fixed 10:30pm bedtime. Placement of these margins is flexible according to the needs of each day.
OK, that feels better. Boundaries, plus flexibility. God please help me to accept these Routine Realities one day at a time; thank you for loving me.

Dear Agnus, I love your sign
Dear Agnus,
I love your sign off.
Makes the whole process of creating routines feel so rich, and inviting.
Very nice.
Thanks for that.
Warm regards -

thanks mama_cat - and another good saying
I also like this one that a friend just sent me but it's a bit long for a sig - and not nearly so holy a source - lol! Might make a good day-starter sometime (anyone, feel free...):
"All the woulda-coulda-shouldas layin' in the sun, talkin' 'bout the things they woulda-coulda-shoulda done... But all those woulda-coulda-shouldas all ran away and hid from one little did."
