Vic 8/15

Still showing up, and for that I am grateful.

Got up late (but went to bed about 12). Had to meet a roofer last nite and went to 2 stores, did get what I needed. My sponsor helped with guilt/self punishment, she has ADHD as well. Accpeting myself where I am. Husband did not want to put effort in loking for trip reschedule, I will deal with it later.

1. spent time on computer. 2. dishes, call about meeting friend tommorrow at water park, I am procratinating about commiting to it.Asked husband, he is not sure if he wants to og, I keep relying on him and then we don't do anything so I need to go with friend and kids. If he doesn't want to go, fine.

2. dishes, kitchen, write apponinments on calander before I forget everything.(done,kitchen is beautiful, half of back deck is stained, grass cut, store and dinner)

Hi Pro Buddies!

After my bike ride this morning, I went and bought my weekly provisions. I did a couple of errands on the way back to the condo. I have put the groceries needing refrigeration into the fridge. Next: cook lunch. I hope to update my CI again later.

12:20pm. I did the skillet/prep part of lunch, and now it is in the oven. While it is cooking, I will type my recipe into the computer.

I have decided I am not going out tonight. I am not stressed, but I would be if anything else today was going to be challenging. Puttering around the condo, I should be fine ;)

1:20pm. The food came out of the oven; I have eaten lunch & it was Plenty Good Enough. After it cools, I will put it in containers to take to work this week and/or to go in the freezer for future weeks ;) I have put one more thing in the oven to cook.

I typed up the recipes. My recipe collection is small. I am trying to build up a collection of easy recipes that I can repeat every few months. I wonder what I will cook next time, hee hee ;)

Energy drink. A promotional display uptown this week gave me a free Name-Brand Energy Drink. I don't usually drink those. Having finished lunch & dessert, I am now trying part of the energy drink. Is this a good idea? I'm not sure, but I'm giving it a try! ;)

I need to run the dishwasher, so I better see if I can get a load started in there.

Next: other than the dishes, the Most Important Thing I Can Do today is go through 1 or more boxes of papers. Beside the sofa I will put: Trash bin with liner, and 1 or 2 boxes for sorted papers. Then I will put a box of papers on the sofa next to me, and start going through them. I'm hoping the Energy Drink will kick in and propel me on this procrastinated project ;)

2:15pm. I boxed up the cooked food into portions, and have put them in the refrigerator. Fortunately I had just enough clean containers -- Win! :) I am washing some other individual portion containers in the dishwasher ;)

The other weekend I was saying about how the condo was doing better about almost staying clean on its own -- wow, was that a jinx, lol! ;) Today it looks like a cyclone has blown through here, lol! ;) [It is because I have been Cooking At Home more, so that's why]. Anyway, I am washing and cleaning my way through, while I work on my other projects.

I have lined up the boxes to help with sorting the papers, so I will be working on that next ;)

2:45pm. I'm still moving around. I have dried, folded & put away clean clothes, and started another load of clothes in the washer. Still puttering along! ;)

3:40pm. Box 1 of papers has been sorted. Yep, at least 50% went into the trash bin! ;) Box 2 is lined up to look at. With the dishwasher & clothes washer, I've started them on other loads; so that is progressing, too! :) Energy drink: lol even though I don't think it is good for me, I am thinking about drinking some more of it, lol! ;) Maybe I will just drink some water ;)

5:05pm. I've heated & eaten dinner, and I drank some water, not the energy drink :) I fixed one more thing to go with something I cooked earlier. I've taken the last load of clothes out of the dryer. I still need to re-make the bed; I'll do that at some point. For the dishwasher, I still have a couple more loads to put in it. I got part way through Box 2 of papers. Next: continue sorting through box of papers, even though I don't care ;)

6pm. OK, that is as many papers as I can look at today. I would say I am at least halfway through Box 2. Tonight -- do I feel like doing anything else? It would be helpful if I wiped the stovetop, and if I ran the dishwasher one more time. Maybe I'll do a couple more things this evening, but just if I feel like it.

7:35pm. Hmmm, with the 2nd box of papers, I actually did continue with it. Toward the bottom, there were a few receipts for the Shredder; I put them in another box rather than dealing with them today, but I went through everything else, and finished another bag to go to the Dumpster in the morning. For the kitchen, after starting another load in the dishwasher, I did wipe the countertop, and I did put plastic wrap on an item that can stay on the counter or go into the fridge tonight. Next: Since I still haven't made the bed yet, this would be a good time. I also need to prepare my gym bags for the week, but maybe I will wait until the morning.

8:50pm. Bed is made. I've taken some melatonin so I will go to sleep soon.

Journey 10:30

Slept late, and then goofed off a bit, now it's time to get started on the day! 

I have made my todo list for the day,and I'm looking forward to going out to a concert with hubby tonight.

First, yoga (at home), qt, finish grocery list, then it's off to visit mom, vacuum the car, and buy groceries.  When I get home, I will put away the groceries and clean out the fridge, sort the laundry,and then get ready for a fun evening!

Still on vacation, plus it's Saturday, so I'm really not going to get much done. Right now, I'm going to read a paper, then I'll make fruit salad. Later today, I want to have prayer time, call AG, and, if I get time, spend 30 min working on fgf writeup
