Recycler CI 6:15pm EST

Hi Pro Buddies!

At the gym this morning, I did my full cardio, most of my stretching, and most of my ab exercises. While not "on time" for the gym, I wasn't too late, so that's why I could do most of my routine.

At the office this morning, I answered emails and lined my projects up in priority order. Due to my boss's work schedule being different than expected today & this week, I will still have some of the same projects lined up in the same priority tomorrow morning lol. Which is ok ;) [not a rush for this week ;) The changes allowed me to work in some projects for my other boss; he emailed me just in time on several projects, so they were 90% done by the end of the day. I will have the other part printed & on his desk by the time he arrives for a meeting tomorrow ;)

At lunchtime, I ate the lunch I had brought with me, did a phone errand, then went into a quiet room for a few minutes meditation. I confirmed that a previous bill had been paid (yes) and cleared that off my plate. Elapsed procrastinating time: about 4 months ;) lol

In the afternoon I prepped projects for the 2nd boss, and revised as he let me know changes. At the end of the day, I edited & highlighted my project list for tomorrow.

Arriving at home I have fixed & eaten dinner. I am not sure what to do next. I'm going to web surf for a few minutes, then decide what to do. I'm not sure if I will need to update my CI later?

8:20pm. OK, I ran the dishwasher, have brushed my teeth, and I wrote an email to my friend. That's about as productive as I'm going to be today! ;)

Have a great night, everyone! :)

We try

What a concept!

WHO’S JOB IS IT? What we can do is our responsibility. How do we know if we can or cannot? We try.

Everything else is God’s responsibility.

KEEP AND OPEN-MIND Many of us are so fearful of change that we resist anything that is the least bit different from our own personal “reality.” Anything new or unfamiliar will seem out of place until we have experienced it. “There is a principle which is a bar against all information, which is proof against all arguments and which cannot fail to keep a man in everlasting ignorance –that principle is contempt prior to investigation.” (Herbert Spencer) Reprinted with permission.

trying

Trying

Me too. We can't do it alone. We have the promises. The desire for avoidance shall disappear .We shall face the present and the future with steadfast hope.

"Where once we felt despair, we will experience a newfound hope."

Praying for willingness to be willing for both of us.

re: we try

Yep, I like that one too!

Journey 9 am & update

Good morning!  Working from home today.  I've been to the gym, stopped by the grocery store, and got gas in the car.  I've read email and checked calendar, now for the old todo list.

Yesterday was . . . ok.  I allowed myself to get a little bit distracted by the fun stuff on the personal computer but not too much, and I got a reasonable amount of work done.  I didn't do dishes or laundry though, so I want to make sure I get a load of dishes and a load of laundry done today.

So, I'm putting a broccoli and cheese quiche in the oven for breakfast, then making todo list and then check back.

Have a productive and enjoyable day everyone! '

UPDATE 1:30 All the administrative stuff is done and I took a required online course.  Now it's time for project work, which will require me to think.  Don't wanna! I'm looking for distractions.  I will work on this for half an hour, then I can take a 5 minute break.

*Get and wrap bday pres for brother, make card
*Pack
*Finish analysis brainstorming
*30 min cleaning

Other tasks are:
*Organize papers in lab
*Finish proposal
*Read Notch paper

OK, right now I'm going to pack, clean, and make card; then I'll get bday pres and head to lab to do a few tasks.

kromer 11:20 CI

Got pres. and made card, packed, did cleaning.

Now, I need to finish brainstorming, then I'll wrap present, then I'll organize papers in the lab (and, if I get time, work on finishing proposal.

For brainstorming, I want to:
*Think about possible types of classifier
*Think about how to ID sig classifier diffs
*Think/read/write about how to identify trends and test for significance of trends (20 min)
*List of next actions (10 min)

Back when I've completed each of these babysteps.

Update 1--running a little late, so I'm just going to pack up stuff for my trip and go.

have a nice vacation Kromer!

showing up, something "happened" here- I would have shut down/checked out by now, someting is happening here and it is not "me"

almost done with day 2 in workbook. So much good stuff what struck me was:Many of us could only see our own little reflection in that limited mirror of our personal “reality”, hearing only the hum of our own little voice as that “reality.” If we are tired of seeing our own little reflection and hearing the hum of our little voice, then where do we go from here? Our little personal “reality” must change. But how? That is what this workbook is all about. finally a way to chage.

1. Did workbook:

4. List the most important ideas you can relate to, identify with as a result of today’s reading;( Alcoholics Anonymous is the Preface and all of the Forewords). How do these ideas directly relate to the area you are currently working this Forty Day Commitment? Give examplesOr me, the most important idea was the following:“By late 1937, the number of members having substantial sobriety time behind them was sufficient to convince the membership that a new light had entered the dark world of the alcoholic.’This idea directly relates to PA. I am finding hope in my darkness of procrastination, avoidance, resistance. Examples: 1. I found this site by God’s grace 2. I stayed and am facing this area of my life3. My HP is “connecting”, after choosing the idea above, in my “God Calling” meditation book, Aug 11, I read:” Yes- remember always that out of darkness I am leading you to light.”

Now I need to start sorting papers, airlines, take paint and supplies over to apartment worker.

Thanks, Keep coming back.
