Am in California for the weekend visiting bf (and some other folks). Flew out this morning, got a fair amount of reading done on the plain. Now am waiting for people to get done w/ school work...I had some coffee, took a walk, bought bday present for a friend, now am at the library and will get stuff done for about an hour before walking to meet my brother.
I'm a little brain-dead right now, so I'm not going to try and get too much done...I want to send deacons notes+2 emails for church, and work a bit on pathways project. Heading to the chatbox now.
I've been in and out of my home office today, scattered between work tasks and home/kid time. (No. 2 son is w/ me this weekend. No. 1 son, now 18, is in and out much more on his own schedule.)
Back in the office now.
Tasks to do:
1) Make at least 1, preferably 2, phone calls for Project A-S
2) Do my complete overview, which I haven't done for some time.

The Hero's Code:
Show Up. Pay Attention. Speak the Truth. Let Go of the Outcome.
Definitely struggling today. Physical, mental and spiritual, but God is helping me. I just keep repeating that and I'm somehow muddling through. My only plan so far is to keep promises I have made to turn in work already discussed and due today:
Expenses.DONE!!
Workplan revision for colleague. BEGUN! Need more info from them; have requested it.
Email as promised to another colleague.DONE!!
Update a third colleague on a progress report. DONE!!
File my weekly report.
Finish the spreadsheet.
File the late tax return that I got a threatening letter about this week.
These all feel like way too much work. What I really want to do is hide. Or drink way too much coffee and run frantically from one thing to another, finishing nothing but feeling like I'm at least moving.
But alas, those are the old ways that earned me a seat in PA, so instead I will thank God that I have a chance at recovery today, and just start doing the next right thing. Onward with the expense report!
Please do not leave advice. Thank you. Prayers welcome.
brush teeth as soon as I get home today.
eat dinner
brush teeth, floss, use the periodontic brush, listerine
place CD in backpack for text-to-speech engine, so that I can use it on Monday
go on a jog of 1 minute, followed by a walk of 2 minutes multiplied by 10
call Quijano or EDD during lunch and ask them about the "Notice of Determination" since there should not be a problem, just an address mix-up due to a missing
I'm having a really hard time getting a doable list together and letting others dictate my day and time, which is one of the things that led to my big failure before - so time to snap out of it and figure this out before i mess up something else.
I think i have some personal/emotional things that I am not facing that are causing me to not focus -it's extra weight and burden I guess - i also know that financial issues cause me severe stress and make it hard for me to commit to a job because I am worried about how to get it done the way i want with the money i have...
i need a prayer break really badly - so i think that is my list for now.
Not focused at all. So I need to show up and FOCUS.
1. Spent all morning developing, researching, editing weekly topic for another 12 step loop. I am filling in for a person out on surgery. Of course I had to make it "perfect" so that I could get people to share/recover- (like i REALLY HAVE THAT POWER- WHAT AN EGO)
2. Progress not perfection. It is 11 am already and I feel like I wasted so much time (I was up since 6:15 a)- Next time I need to start at PA first or I get out of focus.- maybe it is an excuse? oh well, whatever.
3.write gratatude list, I feel very negative about myself, pray, foodstore and other store, home walk/swim? plan with boys/husband. cont. room, on line evaluation.
ck in later Almost 6pm. (coda sevice do one shared but got some e-mails and friend reconnection, got to 2 stores,I buy groceries every day with 2 growing teen boys, they are growing before my eyes, always buying food/clothes, and big husband who loves food, and 2 huge cats who think they are panthers, I use coupons and stock up on sales, but that is a job in itself, because the nearest store is 1/2 hr away, made, really good dinner for husband 2 loads wash, always doing wash), 6pm 1. get acceptance I need to accept where I am. and things I need to do, don't have to like it, just accept it, all the mundane, boring, tedious things. 2. Do something for me, movie? walk? swim?3. Go through trash on truck- son cleaned garage and thew so much of my stufff out-I need to go through it, don't want to but if I don't, it will go to the dump tommorrow.I really hate it, makes me angry- but I do have ntil tommorrow morning. Maybe in the morning I will be in a better mindframe. Thanks
I'm sleepy this morning! My daughter is home for the weekend so we stayed up too late last night . . . but I've been to the gym, read email, and checked my calendar. I don't feel like working, so it will be easy to fall into procrastination today. I'll try to check in frequently.
Now, quiet time, then coffee, then todo list. I'll check in after my todo list is made. I DID complete everything on my todo list yesterday which was great! First time in a while that I have done that. Let's see if we can do it again today. I need to take into account my low energy today when I am making that list.
Have a great Friday and a wonderful weekend!
UPDATE 10 am: Quiet time and to do list completed. I'll choose an administrative task to do first, to get me started.
UPDATE 11 am: Admin task #1 completed. Now doing another admin task. I'm cooking with gas now! I like starting with the easy stuff and leaving the hard things for after lunch when my energy is at its highest.
UPDATE 2 pm: finished admin task #2, went out to lunch with coworkers, then completed two of my red tasks. Short tasks, but high priority. Now on to the third high priority task. I plan to work on this for one hour, then check in and take a short break.
UPDATE 4 pm. Got a lot done on the third high priority task, but worked on it for two hours rather than one. Postponed a couple of low priority tasks to make up the hour.
I have three tasks left to do today, if I spend half an hour on each, that will take me to the end of the day comfortably. So, next, follow up on Java thingy.
UPDATE 5 pm: followed up on the Java thingy, which is going to be a bigger deal than I thought, but that's cool, my intention today was to figure out what was going to be needed. Also did the next task for Project TF, and now I'm going to research how to do a task on Project V. Then I'm going home!! With every work task checked off (or postponed for a good reason).
Have a great weekend everyone . . . having people over for dinner tomorrow night and that will keep me highly motivated to get everything done tomorrow . . . so probably won't check in again til Sunday.

I am really enjoying the time wiht my kids, when I can focus on being present. I will be praying that you can be revitalized and reconnenected today, in every way. I love all your menus, homemade ice cream, cheese cake, etc. I feel happy reading them. Praying for you and your family, Vic

Biscuits, Sausage Black eyed peas Cook and process relish Pick crabs Cheesecake load dishwasher, freeze tomatoes. I have accomplished the following.
Items that I still need to accomplish but have to put off for a while. I have to go and sit with grandmother. She can not be left allow and Step Mom who stays with her during the day has to take her dog to the vet. Some how he has cut his back leg really bad and needs to be stitched up so I will pick up where I left off when I return.
It has been a long, long time since I've done a check-in. A lot has happened since... but I need to come back to the source to fill my well with program- serenity, acceptance, fellowship and recovery.
As some of you may already know... I got married two weeks ago! Thank you all for your lovely wishes and help a month ago. I used many of your suggestions for the ceremony. So, in a way, I took PA with me! :)
Gotta do a check-list now because so much is happening and I'm feeling unnerved about moving and starting my life elsewhere. Too many loose ends to just go improviste.
Okay, so... for tomorrow and next few days:
1. Email Sa about ad change.
2. Write letters of res.
3. Go to pick up med results.
4. Schedule scans.
5. Go check out car park options.
6. Reserve car park.
7. Fill out change of address form at post office.
8. Go to CL and write out change of address in person.
I did not know but wishing you the best of everything!!! Added bonus for a procratinator- married people live longer so you have more time to work on things!!!
I don't know if you realize it, but you can do posatal address change on line.
Sarito I wish you both all the Best , lots of love and good, long life together.
Feeling a bit tired today but still, I am going to go out and do the things I need to.
- Energycompany´s Customer service, pay the bill (done)
-Food, Supermarket etc (done)
-mails, read & reply
I am so glad, and proud of myself. Being now on this Forum is really helping me. I have done a lot of progress. I am not so chaotic as before, I dont get tired, nervous so fast. I have a plan for every day, and since i am writing it down in here, I am also "easier"working my plan. This is a really big big help for me. It really works. :)
