Procrastinators Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from chronic procrastination.
I am journaling tonight, so will just do a usual minimal CI.
This morning, I went to the gym, did cardio, ab exercises, and stretching.
At work, I worked on projects. My project list is looking pretty good! :)
At lunchtime, I went on a walk, then ate my food.
In afternoon, tried to focus on current & upcoming deadline projects, and accomplished some things. Prepared & hightlighted my project list for tomorrow.
Coordinated with coworker to clock out from work a little early, to facilitate a delivery at home. Then went for a walk in the neighborhood. I've eaten dinner on my return to the condo, and have a load of clothes in the washer. Next: keep doing some housework; not go crazy on the journaling but can do a little bit; then go to bed on time so I can get up at my regular time in the morning.
Special thoughts & prayers to anyone who is hurting today and/or needs encouragement. Hugs!!!
Happiness is a habit - cultivating means plowing some rough ground today - but God is with me so I am not going to lose my joy! Have a virus or some corrupt files on laptop and so win explorer -vista not working - may have to restore to day i bought and back up all files - all in the middle of a big RUSH deadline this week... Client is happy - a joy to work with - so that makes it easier!OH! And dd woke up at 2am after i had just gone to bed at 1am and was sick... doing better now thankfully, but got about 3 hrs sleep i think! I have been avoiding one phonecall out of guilt/shame for avoiding it too long before - so praying to do that today along with handle all the other things!
Word and prayer for the day: Proverbs 3:5
“Trust God from the bottom of your heart; don't try to figure out everything on your own. Listen for God's voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; he's the one who will keep you on track “
My to do list:
call dellResolve computer issues, go buy new ext hard drive, mail letter, store
Job2 order supplies, proof design, start print(i don't have time for a computer issue, help me Jesus to get this all done and fixed) Update, it's fixed - so grateful!!!!
jobAB print cards,
st 5:15, call R, email PS / LS, Clear email
clothes and papers ready for preschool meeting in am
I've been at my desk since 7:30, mostly processing email. Also ruminating on a bizarre, cranky email exchange w/ a senior official in an organization I write about as a journalist.
Anyway, MIT#1 this AM is to finish project T-C. I've promised delivery to a contact by 11 AM.
MIT#2 will be to rewrite Project P-7.
MIT#3 will be project W-5
Update:
Finished #1 and #2. Nothing on #3.

Good morning! Working from home today. I've been to the gym and had a nice breakfast. I'm still in my gym clothes, but I want to read email and make a todo list before I change.
Yesterday was a very productive day at work, but when I got home I didn't do the chores that I planned, but watched TV instead. Today I will try to do those small chores during work breaks, instead of surfing.
I need to make a quick decision about Thursday. I'm sitting here debating and dithering over that issue. I will consider the pros and cons for 10 minutes after making my todo list, and then decide. It's not an earth-shattering decision, just choose and move on.

Pretty good day for a work-at-home day! I resisted the distractions on my personal computer that usually derail me when I'm working at home. Yay for me!

Yesterday coming home from lab I had an exciting fall of my bike...I'm just a little banged up, but that pretty much put an end to work last night. So today I have some catching up to do.
Main task right now is to do some clearning...my room is a bit of a disaster, I need to clean it up and organize some papers. I'll work through that in the chatbox and update when done.
Cleaned room, bathroom, kitchen and bike, had lunch, had some good quiet time.
Now, I'm going to head to campus...going to work until 6, then I have social stuff after that.
I want to:
*Make bg reading plan for DP's lab, buy book
*Download relevant GEO datasets and write bulk processing script
*Download SAM
*Maybe go to bio colloquium
Back when I get to campus.
Update 1:50--on campus, now will work on downloading relevant GEO datasets.
I'm going to start with the 11st Step prayer from the Big Book "upon awakening," and ask HP for direction on how to accomplish these tasks:
Study software resolved YAY!
Prep trainings begun, will continue tonight
Pack
Microburst bills basket
Airport by 1 on schedule
Inbox calls
Complete reading for final exam
Call C
Call Mom
I am anxious about this trip - about every trip, the lasty year or so, it seems. So I've been dawdling about quite too much this morning. Need to get back on track now and print those call requests from Inbox so I will have them on hand while waiting at the airport.
