Yay HP!  Yay PA!

That is great!:)

Gratitude

I am so gratful for this site. I don't want to get into details, but this site has been a god send for me.

Tomight- I want to focus on my spirituality. I have a lot of family issues happening right now- and I need to focus on my higher power's goodness instead of my fears, pain, anger and hurt.

Thank you.

Movingalong Sunday afternoon update

So far, my day has gone fairly well.

I need to stop procrastinating on eating a healthy meal. I choose to honor myself by eating appropriately. So that's next.

After that, I need to work on my time log.

consequences

So I think I created some consequences for my procrastination last week (actually my procrastination over the last year). At any rate, due to screwing up on some important details, I now am on probation for the next 30 days, and ultimately, my job is on the line.

Will this paralyze me even more, or create the "wake up call" which I supposed I wanted?

I'm feeling pretty despairing right now.

That's my check in, see yall online at the meeting. mj

wishing you strength and

wishing you strength and courage mamajama.

Courage again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is almost 2pm - I need to get out now.

Hope to be back for the chat meeting.

Falcon CI Sun.

Hi pro buddies,

I got out & did my grocery shopping early this morning, which was great!  The store is so uncrowded on a Sunday a.m.!  Then went to class.

Now I'm back, and feeling out of sorts for no discernible reason, and totally resistant to even thinking about doing anything.  Going to go meditate, and see if I can get my brain back in gear.

Movingalong hopes for continued progress

Hello all.

I've recently made some slow but real progress on tasks that have stymied me.

I am grateful.

Morning all

Dismal day here, dark grey skies, drizzle turning to rain turning back to drizzle.  I am watching my daughter play tic-tac-toe in the dust on the tv table.

I need want to get up from here and start in the kitchen - filling dishwasher, wiping countertops, sweeping floor. Rebooting laundry from yesterday, filling a laundrybasket with all the stuff from the living room that shouldn't be there.  Showering after laundry is done, then rebooting the laundry again.  Folding laundry. Making something to eat - steamed broccoli with a bit of teriyaki sauce. Red pepper.  Make hummus, see how that is.  Then abit of shopping with the family, specifically to find a camera for m-i-l.  Relax when home, chicken wings for supper - on bbq?  Roast potatoes, carrots.

Tonight hubby and I can watch ER's finale.   I feel pretty good about this plan. I might even squeeze in a dusting.

Recycler CI 7am EST

Hi Pro Buddies!

I'm getting ready to go on my bike ride. It's almost daylight enough now. I am trying to bake some biscuits. The biscuits still have a few more minutes to cook, then I will go on the bike ride after they are done.

I'm going to take a Mental Health Day instead of going on my usual activities this morning (I will be bike riding and puttering about the condo, but that's it!). I might go out in the afternoon, but only on something very specific. I hope to update my CI later.

10:05am. What a nice spring morning here :) Temperature is cool, but not overly cool. I have the windows open to let in the fresh air :) Bike ride was good. I did a little more meandering this morning than usual, taking time to look at spring flowers, etc. Did some qigong at the garden I go to, and took a little more time there, too; restorative. Back at the condo, I fixed a breakfast tray & had it in the courtyard atrium. Back inside now, I have the washing machine, dryer, and dishwasher all going lol.

I'm going to be puttering about. I think I will reactivate my Home & Garden Project thread, because my updates about sorting boxes are going to be very tedious.

5:20pm. 10 boxes are sorted &/or distributed &/or moved :) Yay! :) The last number of hours have also included a nap, some cooking, and some goofing off ;) Next: I need to pack my gym bags, & strategize what I will put in my lunch cooler bag for tomorrow.

Have a great day, everyone! :)

Thank you, gals & guys, for being here! :)

ByGodsGrace todays CI

stayed up too late trying to put together train- only bgg did it even fit on the table and connect! It was worth it tho, she is so happy this morning with her surprise! I set record for snooze button today i think! but still a glimmer of hope that has been there everyday for me in the last few days - just a small hope - its new - its a change from the usual grit my teeth, stand and fight to survive (or the avoid and hope it all goes away habit!)- its fleeting at times and hard to explain, and there is not much in my circumstances to warrant it - but it is there... hope that my life now wont be always about surviving, that it can be about overcoming... and this is new too - that  I can have joy along the way.

I've thought  a lot about the idea of heavy/light and how to walk in this gift of lightness, I call that lightness grace, an ease that you just know your doing the right thing at the right time and not in your own strength. So I am coming to this realization in my life about this gift of grace. Sometimes it is just a gift that comes unexpectedly - with no effort, God is so merciful, AND when I study it, magnify Gods word on hope, grace and joy - it comes more often. As I grow in  - spend time in - the word it changes me and makes me more aware, more able to receive the gift.  And I have spent a little over  a week now committed to listening to teachings on hope and confidence in Gods good plans for me - and just as He promises it is starting to bear fruit in my life - and I am grateful and ready for more!  I am going to continue to apply this principle that whatever I study, focus on, invest effort I become stronger in - I have certainly applied this principal for long enough in negative things and became very strong at avoiding all kind of things! If I can become an expert avoider I can also become an expert overcomer!

Word and prayer for the day:   2 Corinthians 9:8 niv , message translations

And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.

God can pour on the blessings in astonishing ways so that you're ready for anything and everything, more than just ready to do what needs to be done.

"...For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future..."  Jeremiah 29:11

Psalm 37:4-5 (amplified)“Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He will give you the desires and secret petitions of your heart. 5Commit your way to the Lord [roll and repose each care of your load on Him]; trust (lean on, rely on, and be confident) also in Him and He will bring it to pass.”

Sunday morning- it's 8:00

Sunday morning- it's 8:00 and again I'll be using my weekend day to catch up because of procrastination.  It is difficult to wake up knowing I am swamped, but these messages help.  Serenity- my task avoidance that led me here was in the past.  Nothing I can do about it now so I need to let the feelings of guilt go and move on.  Courage- I'm going to get up and tackle it. Today anyway, I can face it all. Wisdom- I know I can do it, I know what my procrastinating behaviors are, I can be aware of what I'm doing.

6:15 PM- I was doing well, but then I had a problem with the computer and had to spend some time working on that.  Now I have to back up some stuff, tedious, time consuming.  I think I will finish the other projects tonight anyway because then I can start Monday's work week pretty much caught up.  So I plan to work late tonight.  But all this means I have to skip the gym.
