Procrastinators Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from chronic procrastination.
I hope everyone has enjoyed a fabulous day, especially those in the U.S. where we mark this day of Thanksgiving. I am grateful to have started the day with prayer and a meeting, and to have completed the day with dignity and grace despite the painful family situation. I even cooked a traditional meal - a big deal since I am not very skilled domestically - and J and I enjoyed it as friends (TJ the Wonderpuppy loved cleaning up!). Now I am eating a late supper and then will plan my attack on the choicest "doorbuster" sales that start at 4 a.m. Friday .... shopaholism, here I come! :-)
I didn't have everything done perfectly. I still have had a headache all day. But Dad is 80 & he had a pleasant day, and Aunt is 84 and she had a pleasant day, so that's what counts!
I am exhausted, so I am going to veg the rest of the day. I'm going to continue running the dishwasher, but that's all! I am going to watch my new Barbie DVD, then probably go to sleep around 8pm.
falcon hit the nail on the head for me.
This morning has been less productive that i had hoped, but i did get some things done. Relying on HP again. Have about 1/2 hr left. What are my tasks today/this weekend? Going to figure that out.
Many of us in the U.S. have a four-day weekend starting today. I do, and I know how easy it would be to reach the end of the four days, and find out that none of the things I meant to do got done!
So I want to start right off with a plan for today. To do:
Post to Procrastinators Anonymous -- Done!
Sort and run laundry
Fold all those baskets and bits of clean laundry that are lying around
Clip nails - mine and the cat's
Fill & run the dishwasher
Clean up the kitchen
Make chocolates
Go for a walk
Make a list of to-dos for the rest of the weekend
Shower
Gotta get something to eat, then will see what I can get done and check back in. Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!
O.k., chocolates are underway, towels are about done in the washer, dishes are in the dishwasher, and I've had lunch.
But. . . finishing the chocolates will be time-consuming, and I really need to get in a walk & do that nail clipping. Will I finish everything before it's time to go over to my folks'? The suspense! The edge-of-your-seat tension! Stay tuned!
Hey, they're boring chores. Gotta get some drama in there somehow.
I'm going to spend a few minutes just brainstorming all the things I could/want to get done this weekend. Then I can shower off, go celebrate the holiday and forget about the to-dos until tomorrow.

Hi Pro Buddies!
Being in the U.S., it's a holiday here for me.
I didn't have everything done perfectly. I still have had a headache all day. But Dad is 80 & he had a pleasant day, and Aunt is 84 and she had a pleasant day, so that's what counts!

Have a great night, everyone! :)

Falcon CI Thanksgiving
Hi all,
Many of us in the U.S. have a four-day weekend starting today. I do, and I know how easy it would be to reach the end of the four days, and find out that none of the things I meant to do got done!
So I want to start right off with a plan for today. To do:
Gotta get something to eat, then will see what I can get done and check back in. Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!
Falcon
Falcon CI - laundry folded
Wow, I should fold my laundry more often. Turns out I have WAY more clean undies than I thought.
The load of white stuff has been run and hung to dry. Next up: put in a load of towels, then make the chocolates
Falcon
Falcon CI - the suspense!
Next up: towels in dryer, finish chocolates
Falcon
Falcon CI - disaster averted!
I almost forgot to put the towels in the dryer! But I remembered just in the nick of time! The universe is saved from mildewy towels!
(Could this plot line get any more boring? Remind me not to go into the screenwriting business.)
Making good time. Chocolates are done, and 38 nails have been clipped (20 on me, 18 on the cat.)
Time to go get exercise.
Falcon
Falcon CI - back from walk
O.k., I did a little aerobics and took a walk.
I'm going to spend a few minutes just brainstorming all the things I could/want to get done this weekend. Then I can shower off, go celebrate the holiday and forget about the to-dos until tomorrow.
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!
