Recycler CI 6:05pm EST

Hi Pro Buddies & dancing frogs! :)

I'm on Plan B at the moment.

I thought I would have time to fix a jello salad during the time between work and my volunteer activity tonight. However, my boss needed me to work late, which was ok because I needed to do some things anyway and I also needed to make up some time from my dentist appt earlier today. So I will have to make the jello salad either later, or tomorrow night!

Today: brought 1 load of things to new condo. Showered at gym & got dressed for work. In addition to our usual complimentary yogurt parfaits, they also had bagels & Chik-Fil-A mini-biscuits for us :) I had several mini-biscuits ;) Sent several emails at work, then took an "early lunch" for my dental cleaning. Did projects the rest of the day; got kind of distracted during the afternoon since needed a break, but had already used my lunch time for the appt. Did some projects; then as mentioned stayed a little late. Next: eat something before going to my volunteer activity. After that, decide whether to make the jello salad, or call it a night.

Have a great night, everyone! :)

I have not been on p-a.org in ~ a week; I hope everyone has been well, and making progress.

I'll try to stick to this plan for the next few hours.

MIT #1: --Go to Staples, scan xscipts.

MIT #2: --get rx at drug store.

MIT #3: --buy some gf bread.

Thanks for the support, etc. I'll try to offer more myself in scheduled time. dave

((added 11/26/08: okay, the scaning at Staples took longer than I thought, was not back by 4:30pm for a run; but I did get the others done, thinking about my post here.))

Journey 1:30

Not so hot this morning.   I've done two of 9 MITs and I did a half a$$ job of the second one.   I've been feeling really sluggish this morning. . . but feeling more peppy as the day goes on.   I've had two conference calls and I'm about to get on another one.  I need to multi-task through this one.   Here goes . ..

e up-at -noon ci

in an okay space, although very tired today. Had insomnia last night until 3:30 and then had to be up to get C off to school this morning at 6:30. He was very grumpy, and I fell back into bed in a stupor afterwards. I think I am chronically dehydrated with the heat on : my eyes are dry and my throat hurts all the time. Iti is bleak outside, so I want to take care of myself, and the best way to take care of myself is to start doing something. Yesterday was successful in that I did a large part of the thanksgiving shopping in a half an hour because my list was put together based on what I am making as well as by category (thanks allrecipes.com) I would like to begin to cook today, first banana and pumpkin bread and maybe hard boil the eggs so they are ready to make. I am still on the fence about cooking the turkey tomorrow, but my spouse and son got most of the house looking neat, so that is not something I need to worry about.

first, water and meds and then 15 minutes of time in my bedroom straightening . then to the chatbox....

hope-faith hug

a very gentle hug that won't hurt your neck!  I have chronic neck pain (other than my spouse! Wink) that is the result of injury so I know how awfully distracting it can be. Good luck and I'll be thinking of you as you hit the home stretch for the holiday.

9:45am : late start. catch up here quickly. pls try to keep to 10 min.
10am (15min) : 5 min too long but i can forgive myself. I was affected by ag's predicament yesterday. MIT 1 continues from yesterday.
12:30 : using chat. keeping on track, mostly. Now quiet time.
1:30 : taking too long. i just want to report that i feel a barrier to having my quiet time, and a barrier to praying. But i am overcoming them, w/ HP's help.

kromer 7:30 CI

Busy day today!

Scheduled:
*Genetics class 9:30-11:30

MITs:
*Genome prep+PCR, start metamorph data proc.
*Finish pset
*Write 1 pg on how I chose coregs
*Email NM, CC, AS, EF

Other tasks:
*Call home
*Bug landlord about lease
*Pack
*Carefully look at results from 2 calcs.
*Go over probability lects
*Email 1 prof

I'm going to spend an hour working on pset, and hopefully finish it. Then I'm going to head to campus, send emails and start metamorph data processing. Then I'll go to genetics class, then do genome prep/pcr, then check back in.

kromer 11:35 CI

Went to genetics class, did 1 pset problem, emailed NM and EF.

A new MIT for the day...go to RMV and get my drivers license (I finally gathered all the ID to meet massachusetts' ridiculous requirements).

Right now I'm going to go do genome prep+PCR+metamorph. Then I'll head to the RMV. After that I'll go home and do my other MITs.

kromer 4 CI

did genome prep, then fire alarm went off in my building so I decided to go to the RMV (now I have a license in massachusetts, finally...been putting that off for 2+ months...)

Now I need to do PCR+process data in metamorph (PCR *must* get done, metamorph I might postpone, I'm pretty tired and have a lot more to get done). Then I'll go home, have some dinner, finished my pset and call home.

kromer 7:15 CI

I did the PCR (didn't do data processing though), came home and had dinner.

Now I'm feeling really stalled out, so I'm going to work in the chatbox...I need to finish my problem set now. Back when that's done.

way to drive, kromer

congratulations on dealing with the RMV! Now you can work towards driving as illegally as the rest of us Massachusetts drivers do!

Rolzup CI

I've been up holding the baby since 4 AM. I'm already exhausted! I just want to go back to bed, but it's time to get the day rolling. Just thinking about doing things is painful. Maybe actually doing them will be less so. I'll report back on that in a few...

[X] morning chores <--So far, doing stuff wins! Oh, but now I have to start thinking... ::shudder::
[X] meditation
[X] shower
[X] writing
[X] e-mail dash
[ ] G work <--here's where it starts hurting again
[X] GTD/family time
[X] 11:00 nap <--went back to sleep around 7:30 for 2.5 hours. Guess I needed it, but I'm groggy now.
