Hi Pro Buddies!

Benadryl makes me really sleepy. Since my poisin ivy from yard work the other week continues to clear up, hopefully last night was the last time I will have to take the Benadryl for a while. When I take it, I sleep ok and wake up about the regular time, but feel kind of groggy & don't get up right away.

This morning even though I was making slow progress, I did bring one load to the new condo, before going to my mid-morning activity. Came back to condo & sorted items in kitchen, before going to get groceries. On the way home, got some plants for the new place and a couple supplies that were needed. Ate lunch & started a load of clothes to wash.

Next: look at the paint-touch-ups I did yesterday. See if anything needs an extra go-over. After that, touch up the trim. See how far I can get. I need to do other stuff this afternoon, so may update my CI if I make progress on them.

3:40pm. Paint touch-ups are done. I will leave the dropcloths on the floor; tomorrow I will decide if there is any area that needs some extra help; if not I'll take up the dropcloths then.

That was my big project for the day. I'm going to work on easy, non-stressful tasks for the rest of the day: make 3 gym/work bags for this week, eat dinner, take at least 1 more thing over to new condo, write email to international friend, straighten up some things at both condos. Last night I went to bed on time, so I'll try that again tonight ;)

6:45pm. Gym/work bags are filled. I ate dinner, and have written emails to friends. I took a chair to the other condo, and now will carry over several other things. I'll call my dad in a little while. That's all for now. Monday I have to remember to CI around 4pm while I am still at work.

Have a great day, everyone! :)

This morning, I'm going to take up my pants and work on pset, then go to church+thanksgiving potluck, then go home and make a plan for the rest of the day.

kromer 3:15 CI

OK, today I want to:
*Talk to RH
*Look at nucleosome positions
*Make hybrid interactome, get list of seq-specific binding factors
*Figure out how to transfer data btwn partitions
*Finish hemming pants
*Finish 6 pset problems
*Write 1 pg on how I chose coregs
*(Maybe) go to international folk dancing

OK, now I'm going to finish hemming pants, then talk to RH, then finish 6 pset problems. I'll work in the chatbox to stay on track.

kromer 7:10 CI

Having a rough time today, but I finished hemming pants, talked to RH and had some dinner. Now I'm going to finish those 6 pset problems. I'll work in the chatbox and check in again when I'm done.

Update 9:30--a yucky slow day, but I've finally finished the 6 pset problems. Now I'm going to figure out how to transfer data btwn partitions, then I'll look at nucleosome position and go to bed.

Update 9:45--figured out how to transfer data btwn partitions. That was much easier than expected! I'll look at nucleosome positions now, then I'd better find something else to do, I don't want to go to bed at 10...

corresp. :f[x] w []--hmmm...I am still practicing avoidance because I am avoiding these tow, even though my recovery experience tells me that just doing them will mke me feel better. Okay--eat that frog! I will do them w/in the next half hour. Okay: I have done the necessary amount, could do more but that's enough. Reminder: avoiding is what makes the avoided task seem bad.

MUT work on paper: more reading,--I'm doing this now-- make plan, look up list: I have done a lot but it will take all the time I give it.

e's Sunday AM

Good morning! Thanks for the starter, Jo!

I am up having just driven my son to school, but am feeling under the weather. nothing was accomplished yesterday and I have a lot to get done if Thanksgiving is to come out well. Tonight we have dinner at a friend's house and I am not really feeling good enough to go, but hope I will by this afternoon. In the meantime there is a lot on my plate, but It should be okay if I can take it one thing at a time. Which is going to require coffee.....

Journey 8 am

Happy Sunday morning all!

I am happy to report that I did every single thing on my list yesterday.  That doesn't happen often although I'm getting better - partly by being a bit more productive, but mainly by more realistic planning.   When I plan a todo list that is actually DOABLE, I'm much more likely to be inspired to finish it.  I'm still overscheduling myself and then letting the "important but not urgent" things fall off the bottom of the list.  Well, it's a process!

DH is cooking breakfast - which is very sweet of him, but I was really looking forward to a bowl of Honey Bunches of Oats and a banana.  Now I'll have bacon and eggs and a mess to clean up.   But that's ok :)

Today I want to:

  • sort all laundry
  • wash dry and fold at least three loads
  • bathe dogs
  • clean bathrooms
  • take a nice bubble bath
  • straighten, dust, and vacuum bedroom and dining room
  • dh will probably do the living room
  • make a nice dinner
  • spend 15 minutes on the pile
  • change sheets - which was on the list for last weekend, but didn't get done :)
  • work on my online course at work for 1/2 hour - I only have these courses available until the end of the year and I want to take advantage.
  • do the dishes - probably twice since dh is making breakfast
  • upload photos from digital camera and post on facebook
  • water plants - plants have been neglected lately
  • feed birds - birds have been neglected too!

Hi Journey!
