Did the email. took about 20 min. Then did bunch of other stuff.

dont wanna

Journey 5:30 Glad you guys are here!

I was a little panicky to find myself all alone here . . . lol . . .it helps just to post here and know I have the support of this community.

Even if I don't always make a comment on your posts, I am reading them and sending good vibes your way!

Ag here checking in

Hi Journey. Don't know where everybody is today. Strange. I've just been procrastinating setting MITs so of course that rendered it moot to sign on...

So far today I have had calls with a sponsee, reached a long-delayed decision point about a personal matter, did 2 conference calls, created 2 DWS bills, replied to some emails, got a new food sponsor, and talked to a potential business-financial coach. Never did set MITs so I don't have much confidence that I was on the right track today, so far.

But in honor of the beautiful "One Day at a Time" recovery slogan, I am electing to start a new 24 hours right now!  So, current MITs:

  • pick up new dining table
  • make room for it
  • decide which parts of current dining room set I want to sell/keep
  • post listing on craigslist for this
  • leave for support group mtng NLT 6:45
  • bed by 10

re: ag check in

Yeah, it's hard to check in when you are not being successful at the moment, but I think that's when it helps the most!

Hi Journey!

Hi Journey.

I don't post often on weekdays, as I cannot access the site from work.

But I have today off, so here I am. Just wanted to post a hello and some support!

Journey 9:30

It's 9:30 and I'm the first one here??
Where is everyone?

Back in the office today, and glad to be back.  Telecommuting is wonderful, and it gives me 3 more hours in the day.   But two days alone with the computer is enough!  Normally dd would be around, but she has been spending the past few days helping some friends move.  I have been having a lot of conversations with the dogs and the cat.

I did really well the first telecommuting day, not as good the second day, but still not bad.   It's not as difficult to stay on task as I imagined it would be.  I've only worked from home before on days when I had something critical to take care of, like car repair or doctor visits, so it's much easier to focus when I can keep pretty much to my regular work hours without being distracted by other stuff.  And I have time to cook a nice meal for my family on those days too.

OK, enough rambling.  I've been to the gym, done my 20-minute day starter, and I have coffee.    On to MIT #1.  then a meeting at 10:30, then return here.

Have a wonderful Thursday everyone!

Jo
