Today: early train, elliptical, stretching. Received convention packet, faxed registrations for events that sell out early; exchanged emails with friend. Wrote email to other friend at lunch, instead of doing the errand I was supposed to be doing :o Afternoon, started on project; worked a little late; rode late train home. Heated & ate dinner. Didn't feel like going to other support group meeting, but went anyway. Felt better after going.
Next: a little more Internet time before going to sleep.
address critical emails (limit 1 hour) DONE - whittled down to 44 Inbox items that require action from me. Will sched them for later. Sticking to plan.

spend 10 minutes looking for local IT support DONE
spend 30 minutes on DWS project and another 30 on their billing request Bookending at 3:08 p.m.- that was interrupted by 2 phone calls and 9 emails so back to another 30 minute burst on it at 3:45. --- 4:45 still working it. Going to keep at it until done at least Module 1. This one has the most updates and is therefore the most challenging. After that it will be ez! So, onward through the fog...
I'm dead - cannot make three deadlines I promised today. Consequences are rolling in. It is 5:31 and people are waiting for me to finish something I'd completely overlooked that is due at 6 p.m. - eeerrrgh! DONE 5;51
Finished in 40 minutes. Yay! Next, need to tally up the line item expenditures through May with running subtraction from the allowable amounts, finally revealing my remaining budget. Bookending 20 minutes for this.

Was too tired last night to post update on first CI 7/28/08 but I completed 30 minutes of Setting Up System.
30 minutes was a bit too long as I got a small headache from anxiety/stress after 20 minutes or so. Will aim for 20 minutes next time.
Did not pay late bill.
So here we go again...

I decided to straighten up my apartment - at least bring the chaos level down a little - before I get ready for work. I can spend some time on this and still get to work at a reasonable hour.

I'm the thread starter again today. People are getting slow starts in the morning, I guess?
I'm waffling between trying to get to work early versus working on my backlog for a while.

opened unopened mail
I had a week or so of mail built up and I opened that. Good thing to do - there were two checks in there (insurance reimbursement).
One thing I noticed while picking up in here. This apartment is really dirty - needs more than picking up. It needs dusting, vacuuming, etc. Later...
Now I'm going to finish getting dressed and leave for work.

pile of clothes is gone
I went through the pile of clothes - put the dirty stuff in the laundry, put gym clothes to soak, and put away the clean stuff.
Also, I'm showered and mostly dressed. Trying to decide what's next...
