Procrastinators Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from chronic procrastination.

I am new

New to this site -

Is there somewhere that I can "read" on how I should be utilizing?

I am a chronic procrastinator.

If there is even the slightest bit of time to put something off, I do.

I am ready to change.

hi toom

(can i call you toom?)

Here's a short list of what you can do on this site:

Most popular is Check-ins or "Book-ending". Click the link for why they work. For example "Thursday 1 May 2008" is the thread for today. Tomorrow there will be a different one with tomorrow's date.

Also many people here get assistance from the 12 Steps and the rest of the P.A. Meeting Materials; And we just started online 12 step meetings: Sundays 7:30pm GMT: online 12-step meeting of Procrastinators Anonymous.

That, and just the support of sharing with people our common struggle, helps many of us. Many of us thot we were the only ones with this problem before we came here. We're all different, but there is a common thread in our common struggle. And i find this site full of friendly, supportive people. It's a pleasure to hang out here.

Thank you -

This is harder than I thought it would be to do - and frightening

to toom

Nothin to be scared of around this place . . . we know what you're going through and are here to support you.  No judgement.  Good luck!

start with the articles, then the check-in

I answered you in the chatbox, but to repeat...

Start by reading the articles on the site (click the "Articles") button. Then read the post at the top of the check-in board ("Forum" button) about how and why check-ins work, and start using the check-ins.

There is an online meeting each Sunday in the chatbox.
