pro's CI - midnight

Just reminding myself that it's past my bedtime. I have to brush my teeth and go to sleep!

pro's CI - 8:55pm

I did some more pile work this afternoon. I submitted new information to a lab that was billing the wrong insurance company, paid a long-overdue medical bill, and sorted more of the paper so I know what's going on. I also had major work done on my car today - also long overdue.

I'm done working for tonight. At some point tomorrow I'm heading back to New York (in my newly safe car). Not sure what time I'll leave - depends if I find something entertaining to do. The weather was lousy today and I had no car. Tomorrow it's supposed to be nice here.

RR's CI 5:45

finished:
mailed out bills

and that's about it

to do tonight:
receipts
go to event

pro's CI - 1:10pm

I got to the mechanic on time. Very time-consuming, very expensive work is being done on my car. In the meantime, I'm in the library sorting through my "medical stuff" folder and filing insurance claims (working on my pile!).

kromer 9:30 (PT) Check-in

Hello all!
Very late start, time to get going!
Brain is very foggy this morning, so I am going to break things down into very small steps and check in often. Here are the first few things I'll do; I'll check in after each one
1)Chose area of specialization for DOD fellowship (20 min)
2)Finish UCSD personal statement (30 min)
3)Rough essay about DOE Plan of Study (1 hr)

kromer 10 (PT) CI

Area of specialization chosen! Molecular genetics and genomics

Free hugs!

I'd like one, please!

I have a bad case of brain tangle this morning.  Too many things on my mind, winter depression, somehow my place (which was clean just a few days ago) has had entropy set in and is a mess again, and I slept so late the morning's almost gone already (I needed the sleep, but sometimes I wish I was one of those folks who can get by on just a few hours a night.)

O.k., I'm taking a few deep breaths and thinking about nice calming polar bear hugs.  ;-)

So -- I HAVE to get the bills into the mail before the carrier comes, which will be soon, so that's next.

Then, I think I need to get out and take a walk, or I'll just be so draggy and overwhelmed nothing else will get done.

Then I can come back and prioritize.

hug

whoops! I am late on my hugs! HUGGGGGGGGGGGG!

After 1:00 already?

Yikes, I can't believe it's already 20 after 1:00!  But I got my bills set to go, went for a walk, answered some email, and figured out how to use the new ipod that I was given for christmas.  And sorted some laundry and found my missing shirt, so I guess it hasn't been a dead loss.

Next up:

  1. Put in load of laundry
  2. While laundry is going, eat lunch
  3. Hang laundry to dry
  4. Take shower
  5. Look up that annoying thing for the insurance company
  6. Gather insurance forms to fax, library books, stuff to photocopy
  7. Go to drugstore and library

Ready, set. . . go!

Done

Done!  And the insurance thing was something I'd been putting off forever, so that's a good thing.

I could still use another week off just to do the rest of the stuff that's been accumulating, but at least I've been accomplishing the stuff I really NEED to get done.

please put your username in the subject of check-ins

Please put your username in the subject of the check-ins. Otherwise people can't easily find their check-ins in the comments list. Imagine if everyone just wrote "Done" - see what I mean? Thanks.

Hi Pro,

Will do!  Thanks for pointing that out.  (See, I'm clueless, but educable!)  Wink

8:20 for Lark (and 1:07)(and 10:45pm)

Good morning everyone. Funny thing--I usually glance at the "who's online box", and there're seldom more than three or four members and maybe 20 guests. The other evening there were over 200 guests! This morning started well here, except for freezing rain. Glad I also work here. A client is going to be here soon, and I find myself being VERY productive in preparation. Hmm.
To do:
(X) morning routine
 (X)spiritual time
 (X)order and pickup meds
 period of house cleaning
 sort laundry
(X) take care of first client
(X)do something significant to present work project today

pro's CI - 7:20am

I'm dressed, and not with a lot of time to spare so it's a good thing I got up early and didn't dawdle.

Have a great day, everyone!

pro's CI - 6:40am

I cleared my spam folder. Now I'm going to get dressed. I'm capable of being late, even after getting up so early. Don't want to do that.

Good morning. Free hugs? Oh good - I need a hug!

I woke up at 5:45am this morning and couldn't go back to sleep. It's just as well. I have to be somewhere at 8am. This way I won't be late.
