I couldn't find the thread at first, because it got posted in the Announcements forum instead of the Check-Ins forum.
But I found it :-)
Hope you are all having a nice Tuesday. Today I am focussing on getting all my garbage picked up, into the bins, and the bins (barrels) out to the curb.

i guess i'm not the only person alone on christmas. i'm supposed to be visiting my family today, but i've been putting it off since i just spent the past several days with them and need some time alone.
this is not my first christmas without a significant other, but it is the first christmas that i've felt keenly that i would like to be with someone. i think this conservative town has brainwashed me!
to do:
visit family
work on editing paper
write check, put in envelope, stamp, for car payment
edit resume

Hi everyone. I feel like I'm in a bit of a vacuum today. Just the cat and me, but I am going to go to a meeting this evening (don't know about the cat yet). I think I'l sort papers and do some normal housework, and maybe some odds and ends outside if the temp comes up enough. Ahh, I can also try to finish a book I've had for a while. Someone at a meeting once said when you feel down, do something for someone else. There doesn't seem to be too many folks around today. Oh well, do have a pleasant day everyone!
I'm alone today, too, Lark.
I thought about going to a meeting today, but decided to go to the circus instead. That's a more sure-fire way to bring a smile to my face and forget about being alone.

I have some stuff cooking. I washed the dishes. I need to get dressed now and go out. I may work when I get back - or not. I told myself I don't have to work on Christmas day. Tomorrow I'm going out of town for two days, so my next potential work day will be Saturday.
