Journey's CI

My first weekend check in:
The big problem I have with weekends is that I think I can get everything done that didn't get done during the week.  So I have this list of like two million things and there is no way I'm going ot get it all done even if I work nonstop for 16 hours both days.  So I look at my list, get overwhelmed, and then play video games all weekend :P:

Here are my most important tasks for today:

Yoga - done - but I was five minutes late as usual
Visit Mom and Dad - done - listened to the same stories I heard last weekend but pretended it was all new to me :)
Make grocery list - done
Go to the library book sale - done
Go to the tanning bed - done
Buy groceries - done and they are sitting in my hot car right now!

Still to do:
Put away groceries
Clean out fridge
Clean up kitchen
Make dinner
Clean up kitchen again (how boring)
Straighten living room, dining room and bedroom
Put some new music on my MP3 player
Dial in to work and check on DDMM
Submit Club Dues online
No video games until all this is done
If time sort laundry and start on organizing car

Next check in at 4:30.  By then I should be ready to start on dinner.  I hope.

Have a nice weekend everyone!

Where's PRO today?

J.

I can relate to this!

I know what you mean about weekends. The reality is that I get much less done on the weekends than on a weekday. I kind of do the same thing on the weekdays too though. I make these impossibly long lists and some small part of me actually believes that I could get it all done (: I sometimes don't have a very realistic idea of how long things take.  Maybe a good goal would be: Make shorter lists and actually do all the things on them (:

Julie

List length, "Quality vs. Quantity"

I know what you mean about that, too. Someone told me to keep the lengths of my lists down, as it increases the success rate. If we get those things done, we always can make a new list. I'm still working, so I'll be back a bit later with some ideas which came to me today. Thanks.

That's me exactly.  That's

That's me exactly.  That's one reason I'm always late - I think I can get ready in 15 minutes.  I know it's not true, I NEVER get ready in 15 minutes, but still every day I believe it again!
