pro's CI - 7:45pm

All that's left to pack is this computer. I'm getting ready to leave, but I feel tired and unwell and wish I were doing just about anything but driving out of state.

Good job, Pro!

You got everything done in time despite the odds! :-D Put on some good music and transform the ride from a long trip to a fun one :-) Wishing you all the best!

pro's CI - 6:20pm

I just got home from work, and now I need to pack and leave for my weekend trip. I don't like doing things this rushed, and also I'm not feeling well. I hope I can do this. I have to do this.

Edge's CI - 11:00PM

It's my off day today, so I spent it visiting relatives and lounging about at home :-) Reading this online book - The Science of Being Rich. It was one of the original inspirations behind The Secret (which I didn't like much - was kind of cheesy). Not bad at all. If anyone's interested I'll send/put up the link.

Anyway, not going to post a to-do today. Everything I needed to do like cleaning up and such I did anyway, plus I've decided to take the day off from further chores :-) Will be going to bed in a few hours, so wishing you all a good night and hoping your day will go well :-)

Amy's To Do List

I was supposed to check-in by 10 a.m. and it is definitely 1 p.m.  I have been distracted at work this morning. I saw a dog on the Humane Society's web site that only has three legs and I have since been determined to find it a home.  After some phone calls I was able to get him a home at a nursing home in our area and provide some resources for them.  I'm very excited and it's been a great day so far.  Now I just need to work on my to do list.

Hey, Pro :-)

I've been having trouble keeping myself moving too. Visualizing myself doing things that I'm really not in the mood for (i.e. everything on my to-do list) really helps, though. Doesn't make me go fast, but at least it keeps me going :-) Hope all goes well for you today :-) Stay strong!

Lark's 8:20am CI(1:00pm)

I'm still trying to take care of things not done or done well enough earlier in the week. I'm frustrated about it, and I feel lazy. Instead of planning new things--as is the usual case--I'm hoping to take care of those things. That feeling that kicks in that says, "That's good enough." has to stay away for today. Ugh.
To do:
 (X)morning routine
 spiritual period
 clean house better
 sort workshop better
 get flea stuff for cat
 wash dishes
finish section of work project A (well)
 sort of out project B
 order supplies and pay bill
(X) check in here

Movingalong at 5:28 AM

Leaving now to drive to another city to drop off completed difficult legal paperwork.  They open at 7AM.  Then will return to my town and go to my regular job.

Praying for serenity in the long drive and traffic, and peace about getting this task done.

evening update

Well, I got the paperwork dropped off.  That was huge.

I got to work late, but that was okay.  Managed to meet most of my deadlines at work.

I have several more huge legal-financial things to work on.

Checked mail after work, and found a completely new unrelated legal paperwork challenge awaiting me.  Maybe I can deal with this one without procrastinating.

Up and about but tired... 11:57 CI

I didn't end up making it home by 6, and then have been gone all evening after that. My friend was surprised that I was there before she was! I am exhausted and I think I'm going to go ahead and get ready for bed. I'll check in at 8 and start to work on my website.

I made it up by 7 am so I can leave on time to meet my friend. My goal is to leave the house by 8:45 to drop my dog off at daycare and then get on the road. I am always late meeting this particular friend so it will be fun to surprise her by being early. I will check back in around 6 pm. Have a great Friday everyone!

pro's CI - 7:25am

I didn't pack last night, nor did I get to bed early. But I'm up early, so I can get to work early, so I can get home early, and pack then. I don't want to leave before 7pm anyway because of rush hour.

So now my task is to get ready for work without dawdling!

Takin' the good with the bad

I know what you mean Rexroth. Whenever things are going well for me, there's always something annoying which happens to take away from it. I have a part-time employee who sometimes makes me want to scream at him, yet he does a good job at the tasks at hand. If he was invisible and silent he'd be working for me more often.

Rexroth 18.22 BST

Thanks Lark. He's finished the electrical work and it's fine. He will be coming back on Monday to finish some window catches. The new lighting in the kitchen means that I can't see clearly to prepare food. I did tell my landlord about this before they replaced the lighting but they knew better. Anyway I can deal with it. I'm very glad that I have a light in my cupboard at last.

After he left I've being tidying up and am hot and tired. I'm doing OK.

Regards Rexroth

Rexroth 23.10 BST

It's just past 11.00, my bedtime and I'm tempted to stay up looking at various sites and they will still be there in the morning. It's good to have my place back and I've still more tidying to do.

Night folks
