3.  Watch movie that needs to be returned tomorrow
4.  Updated finances

To Do

2.  Aerobics class at 5:30
3.  Dinner

I will check in again after dinner.

CI

Well, today was really encouraging. Using some of the tips from the meeting materials has made this one of the most productives days at work yet. Now it's time to do some housework. I am going to check in at 9:30.

CI

Halfway through the section of the project that I wanted to accomplish today. The idea of starting starting before I am ready has really helped. I'll check-in at 6:00 before I leave work.

Hey, himmy :)

That's a good idea - starting before you're ready. I always take forever preparing things before starting on a task, which ends up in me doing more prepping than actual work. Will have a go at your technique :)

I have great difficulty focusing at the moment, and as a result I hardly did anything today and yesterday. More and more I get the feeling that my procrastination is only a manifestation of something deeper. and I think that might be AD/HD. What I did do: I called a nearby psychologist and made an appointment for next friday. I need help.

Tonight I will try to meditate, watch the summary of the Tour de France on television, and measure the tap in the shower so that I can buy a new one soon. Maybe instead of meditating, I'll try to read a book. Sometimes that is just as calming.

meditation

I find that meditation, even when it is difficult to do, leaves me feeling calmer.  I've got a resolution to meditate every day for ten minutes, just to build the habit.

What kind of meditating do you do?

Vipassana

I use the Vipassana method, focusing on my own consciousness and thoughts. If I have a good meditation session, this really calms my mind. If not, I'm getting stressed and nervous even more because I get very aware of the mess in my head. Sometimes I don't meditate for this reason, than reading a book can be a better option to relax.

Have a great day everyone!

Up bright and early by 8:15

I almost made it up by my goal time of 8 am. It's amazing how putting my wake-up time on here the night before gets me out of bed. I have an an appointment at 10 and will need to leave by around 9:30 so my goals before then are:
1. morning routine/getting ready
2. clean office for 15 minutes
3. Clean kitchen for 15 mintues
4. Call medical supply place for trip info.
5. Walk Zoe

After my appointment and before I come home I will:
1. Get gas in my car
2. Get oil changed
3. Stop by office at work to check on website problem
4. Stop at Wal-mart and get window cleaner
5. Vacuum car
I will check back in when I get home.

Check-in 4:30 pm

I've had a pretty good day. I was overly optimistic about what I could get done before I left the house this morning, but was able to accomplish quite a bit.

Finished
Called medical supply place
Walked Zoe
Got gas in car
Got oil changed -only 2000 miles overdue (:
Stopped by work to check on website problem
Vacuumed car

I didn't get the kitchen or office cleaned so I am going to work on that now. I'll check in again in 30 minutes.

Check in at 5:15

I got the kitchen done and made a dent in my office. I can see most of the top of my desk! I have to go eat now and then I have a meeting at church at 6:30. I'll check back in later tonight.

Have a good evening everybody!

I hope everyone has a good day today. As for yesterday's mention of on-line meetings, I can often spare a few minutes to have a mini-meeting when I'm on the site, so please ask. For today, though, my spare bed looks like I'm having a rummage sale, so going through the clothing on coffee breaks today will be in the works.

( X) morning routine
 (X)meditation
(X)do another section of work project A
sort out clothing into hang up, wash, donate, and throw away sections
(X)do one section of work project B
