Procrastinators Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from chronic procrastination.

Sunday 22 April 2007

already today i've:
got up at decent hour
watched church programs
swapted hard drive from a loaned laptop to my fixed laptop

will do:
pack up loaner laptop for mailing back
packup return of merchandise ordered (i've been putting this off - what am I saying...I've been putting everything off!)
find out where to take items for shipment
vaccuum living area
straighten up living area
clear out newpapers and magazines for recycling
clean cat pan
go outside for fresh air (it's a beautiful day but I won't commit to more than going outside)

that's it for now.  If I get thru these items, I will feel like I've made progress.

ok, it's evening - Still need to do:
pack up merchandise
finish vacuuming
clear out newpapers and magazines
clean cat pan

what I have finished:
not only did i get fresh air, i went for a 2 mile walk - yeah

But, I've let myself get distracted.  TV, crying over breakup - i wish i could stop crying!

back to work to finish my list

7:30 pm
I've finished the vacuuming
i'd cleared out the newspapers and magazines (well as many as i could fit in the bin - will take a couple weeks to get them all out)
cleaned the cat pan

what's left
get merchandise ready for mailing
make list for tomorrow
wash face, brush teeth
lights out

startingnow...

Please look for a day thread to post check-ins before starting your own. Everybody posts their check-ins in the same thread - otherwise it gets chaotic. If you don't see a day thread, when you start one make the first message a welcome message to everybody, then post your check-in as a comment to the welcome message (rather than starting the day thread with your check-in).

Details on using the Check-ins board are in a sticky post on the top of the Check-ins board:

Way To Go Starting Now

I find getting up early sets one up for success in trying to get things done.

I'm taking a shower at 8 then starting my day.  I slept in yesterday.

Thanks

Thanks for the advice.  I forgot to write it in but i did take a shower today (2 in one weekend, that's a record for me.  Got any advice for getting over a broken heart?  I'm glad i came across this site at this time though - it's helping me stay focused on other stuff.
