Thomas C., end of day

I ended up doing all of these:

* finish quiz
* copy quiz
* revise lecture notes
* revise another lecture
* go to lecture

The second lecture is only partially revised, and I didn't get to it in class. At least I managed to finish the first lecture. I've been getting behind every time I give a lecture. I didn't do that today.

In the meantime, I'm going home. I have so many things to do, but just can't get to them; I'm still somewhat sick. Tonight I'm taking it easy and going to bed early.

Thomas C., active procrastinating

I have a quiz and a lecture to give in one hour. Am I working on them? No.

This quarter has been very difficult. Sick for weeks, before that jobsearch timesink, before that the quarter started too early and I tried to do online quizzes.

Anyway, here's the list:
* finish quiz
* copy quiz
* revise lecture notes
* revise another lecture
* go to lecture

in one hour!

It's amazing what checking in will do. Already have the reader out, ready to go over the readings to write the quiz. Thanks for being there.

Monica's CI - 2:05pm EST

I ate way too much for lunch. I'm so full I could bust. LOL! I'm too uncomfortable to do anything right now. I will attempt to get back on task after I pick my son up from school.

TADA:
Check son’s book bag for important papers
Help son with homework
Get son ready for school
Make son's breakfast
Take son to school
Update calendar
Devotional time
Clean off and make bed
Clean off nightstand
Put away clothes on bedroom chair
***Lunch break***

TODO:
Pick son up from school at 3:30 pm
Take teen daughter to work
Laundry

If I can't do it perfectly, I'll do it anyway. If I can't do it all, I'll do some. If I do nothing, nothing gets done.

"I don't feel like it" is a poor sacrifice for your dreams.

9:45 am CI, Lark

I'm still not satisfied with my yesterday, and still feel "off the beam"--which is an easy place to procrastinate from.  Instead of trying to cram everything into today, I need to do only the important things for starters.
To do:
morning routine
meditation
organize work schedule
do laundry
pay bills

That's the best I can do this morning. Work will be planned when these are done.

I'm curious, do they still

I'm curious, do they still fear god in England?

Fearing God

In the old fashioned sense of 'fear' then, yes, many people do.

For myself I've had an uncomfortable relationship with christianity for the last 50 years at least, I used to be a Quaker and now do voluntary work with the Church of England because I respect what they are doing where I live.

Rexroth 22.44 GMT

Felt very tired early on and had a long rest so haven't got as much done as I had thought and also got completely confused with a letter. Anyway it's time for bed now.
