Lark's last CI at 11:15 pm

I did everything on my list for today, plus my "nonlisted" small goals. Only thing, I'm a little disappointed that I didn't  get everything completed quicker, and perhaps a couple of them a little "better". Does anyone else have this predicament? Thanks.

pro's last check-in - 10:50pm

I'm all ready for bed except for the fact that I've taken no pills today. I've got to take at least one dose. Also, I'll all out of allergy meds - I don't even have any over-the-counter allergy medicine - and I'm a sniffly, itchy mess. I put allergy eye drops in my eyes and rinsed my nasal passages which helped a little.

I'm very tired. I didn't sleep well last night.

Good night, everyone!!

Never mistake motion for action – Ernest Hemingway

Lark's 5:45 pm CI, and request for cat info

Actually, I've done well today, according to my CI list from this morning, but I think I "underbooked" myself. I did well on my pile of papers on the table, and then the mail brought another one. A local stray kitty has been bunking in my workshop while it's been cold, and I'm having litter box trouble. She starts out right with the mandatory scratching, but things don't end up in the box. If anyone has any suggestions for training properly, please post in our Off Topic area. I'd appreciate it.

Will post something for you

Will post something for you tomorrow, Lark. I've a cat myself and I know a few people who like taking in strays, so will ask them for tips later on. For now, though, this might come in handy: http://www.ehow.com/how_2277_stop-cat-urinating.html

Thanks.

I appreciate the link. It sure beats the philosophical discussions I've been having with her!

Bud's check-in (4:30 PM)

I like the Tuesday snoopy graphics.  I love these graphics, because I do them at my job, so I love making things look pretty, wish I could do it in my own home!!

I'm kind of bummed that no one laughed at my overweight, drunk, flying woman that I posted  yesterday.

Since I'm just starting out at this, my day is not what I thought it would be, the think I'm glad at is I'm not beating myself up for it.  I happily and luckily did my yoga, long workout!!

Tuesdays TO DO:
Up at 7:00 AM  AT 8:30 AM!!
 Do extensive beauty routine.

Walk Munchkin.
 Y
oga tape.  YEAH!!
Be in the City by 10:30 AM

Do work that I'm not being paid for at home.
Take Munchkin for a long walk in a new neighborhood.
Really clean kitchen, possibly including oven.
Empty out living room drawers to make more room, possibly.
I need another job, got to get another job!!

I did more than I thought I did!!  The rest of the day I'm not counting on getting too much done, except to check back here to set up tomorrow.

Just also need to come clean about things.  I logged on here under a different name a while back, because I didn't think things were working out at that point, here, and this helped me so much and I needed it and whenever I really need or really want something, I never get it- that's been my lot so far.  Also, as I was looking through the site and really checking it out, I saw how many people came and went.  Part of me wants to do something to change that, part of me doesn't want to be that person, part of me is afraid I will be that person and part of me wants to not care about that other person and part of me feels bad that these people might not be getting the help that they need and part of me sees that if there were 50 people on this site, it would be chaos.

So there you have it the truth is out, whether it will set me free I guess time wil tell.

Kind of want to hear from you all, kind of don't.

Take care,
BUD

so, Bud...

> Just also need to come clean about things.  I logged on here under a different name a while back...

Now I'm dying of curiosity. So who were you? What was your previous username??

> I'm kind of bummed that no one laughed at my overweight, drunk, flying woman that I posted  yesterday.

Posted here? I didn't see it. I wasn't online much yesterday. I was offline all day because of my out-of-town interview.

Congratulations Pro!!!

Don't want to tell. I posted her on Monday's check in.

pro's CI - 3:15pm

I haven't been doing too well on the "getting dressed" front. I've been kind of obsessive about checking my email every two minutes to see if there's any more job news. I did get a couple things done - called Toshiba about my notebook problem, couple other small things. But I really need to get dressed and get the mail.

jj's 11:50am CI

Seems like I woke up a million times during the night, so not feeling rested or energetic today.

- in bed by 11pm (I checked this off prematurely last night, and then didn't get to bed 'til 11:30)
- read before sleep

This is all I feel able to commit to right now as I'm fighting the urge to watch tennis on TV all day.

Grrrr!

Very frustrated with myself. I got almost to the cafe where I was going to do my writing (a 1/2 hr drive) & realized I'd forgotten the power cord for my laptop which is old & doesn't have much battery power left. Drove home, just had lunch, gonna leave again soon. What a waste of time! For future reference, I'm gonna do a checklist of stuff I need when I'm working elsewhere.

extra batteries

That's frustrating! I got an extra battery pack for my notebook that lets me work in cafes where there is no outlet. I swap it in where my DVD drive would be. And speaking of my notebook, I need to call Toshiba for repair...

Good idea!

Thanks for the suggestion, pro. OK, I'm gonna leave now (I can see the temptation to just hang out here growing--gotta go before I totally lose the will.)

pro's CI - 8am

I woke up at 4:30am, finally got back to sleep some time after 5am, then at 6:30am I accidently knocked a glass of water over on my bedside table and had to get up to clean that up. Now I'm up again - for the day this time.

I don't know why I keep waking up at 4:30am. :-?

Monica's CI - 6:15 am EST

Why is it when I post some small success, THE VERY NEXT DAY I regress? I woke up late today. Consciousness didn't come 'til 5:45 am. I really had to fight the perfectionistic monster in me this morning. I wanted to lay in bed and forsake my morning routine, all because it didn't start the way I wanted it to. But I remembered what I learned from giving up a few weeks ago. I'm up and I'm ready to rethink my schedule and most of all MOVE!

pro's first check - 5:10am (!)

For the last several days, I've woken up at 4:30am. Other nights I was able to get back to sleep, but tonight I was still awake after half an hour. I'll probably try going back to bed after I post this. I don't know why I keep waking up at this time.
