Show up (done), basics, plan, follow through

Thx Jalla for your support and once again thx for starter. I definitely get my courage here, yesterday did some things I put off. Turned out more awful than I expected, but I did it, not finished yet but at least I know I tried and I have some tools that work for me. Thx.

"Saturday, September 21, 2013              Letting Go of Urgency

One thing at a time.

That's all we have to do. Not two things at once, but one thing done in peace.

One task at a time. One feeling at a time. One day at a time. One problem at a time. One step at a time.

One pleasure at a time.

Relax. Let go of urgency. Begin calmly now. Take one thing at a time.

See how everything works out?

Today, I will peacefully approach one thing at a time. When in doubt, I will take first things first."

From The Language of Letting Go by Melody Beattie

Salamander's check in - Saturday, 21 September 2013

Thank you, jalla, for the funky thread starter which puts a smile on my face to start the day. My first day back here again in a while, after rereading "The Procrastination Equation" and getting a lot more out of it second time round.

Today's plan...

  • Have shower
  • Go to Homebase
  • Call in on gym on way home
  • Declutter for 15 mins
  • Washing: in/out/spread out to dry
  • Cook chickpea/spinach stew
  • Clear washing up
  • Clean kitchen sink
  • Change ALL cat trays
  • Take rubbish out
  • Hoover downstairs
  • Empty hoover

THEN if there's time...

  1. Meditate
  2. Jot down freezer contents and plan menus
  3. Hoover upstairs
  4. Rubba Scrubba staircase
  5. Clean kitchen surfaces
  6. Sweep kitchen floor
  7. Bathrooms
  8. Downstairs WC
