Secretary made nice comment about how tidy my office looks :) Almost lal paperwowrk today except for a lunch time meeting with my colleagues, whcih if the last one is anything to go by will degenerate into amajor row between several of my colleagues over matters which are nothing to do with me.
SEN reports (4) took till mid afternoon, but they're all done!
How lovely of you dear Knitfisher - I think I am emerging from the storm - just have to clear the debris now. Remembering to breathe and live in the present is always a good thing- and I've planned some time out.
It is especially kind of you to think of me when you are in the midst of such a hard time yourself. I know so well what a millstone these undone responsibilities become - this great THING that weighs you down all the time and just gets bigger. And also for me I get to the point that there feels as if there is no point even starting because ther is so much there. I do think that ultimately looking the problem in the face helps- I mean in a specific way like counting up all the accounts, working out how much doing one would take and so being able to be realistic rather than hopeful about a timeline.
iknow the worst thing is shame and embarrassment - and can only wish you good luck tho it is better to ' fess up and also have a clear and realistic plan you can offer to set things right.
all strength to you, dear knitfisher. Think of us all sitting in that meeting with you and cheering you on.
