Procrastinators Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from chronic procrastination.

"Life is hard, but we don't have to make it more difficult by neglecting ourselves. There is no glory in suffering, only suffering. Our pain will not stop when a rescuer comes, but when we take responsibility for ourselves and stop our own pain.

Today, I will be my own rescuer. I will stop waiting for someone else to work through my issues and solve my problems for me."

Thank you jalla. I heard on Oprah show, Ivanya said when we go through a big change, "everything that needs healing comes to the surface" - seems to be true for me.She said we need to pause (dangerous for a procrastinator... lol) she also says time todo "the work"

grateful for pa)ers_

Detachment involves present moment living -
living in the here and now. We allow life to happen instead of forcing
and trying to control it. We relinquish regrets over the past and fears
about the future. We make the most of each day.

riddled's Sunday ToDos

  • 2h job-related paperwork
  • swimming 3 km (1 with fins + handpaddles)
  • checking free conference call possibilities
  • 4h job-related paperwork
  • put sitting ball into action (I'd bought this sitting ball maybe 5 - 10 years ago. Always wanted to try it, never got around to do it. Today I was so cramped from sitting on my chair, I finally looked for it, found it at the back of some wardrobe shelf (had to take everything out and stuff it back in again), found the pump, pumped it up, and cleaned it. Feels much more comfy now!)
  • some more job-related paperwork Undecided(Finished filing/digitizing one topic, started the next. It was probably right to start with the easiest, least critical topic. That way, I get a feeling how to do it, and can apply that to the more difficult chunks of the task. It feels more natural to me to get the easiest parts out of the way first, which is probably part of my problems. If I go on now with the next easiest chunk of the task, I'll never get to the most difficult and most critical chunk in time. I have that problem often, so maybe, in such cases, I should start with the easiest part of the task, then do a middle one, then attack the most difficult, and do the rest afterwards.)
