Hamlet's checkin

It's as predictable as the tides and the rise of the sun (only if I am up to see it).  When i don't get on PA and have a list of Check in for the day, i accomplish nothing for the day.  Last time, i was able to check in for 5 days in a row.  Now, have to start with day 1 again and try to be consistent and sustain myself on this program.

wow, 200 days on this plan, attempting abstinence. I like that the number of days attempting goes up no matter what (even if i fail).

Abstinence from unplanned time.

  • The one thing, the only thing, i can do impulsively is write something on my todo list.
  • The one thing, the only thing, i can do off plan is recovery, something to maintain my sobriety, when tempted. I have come to believe that it is more important to maintain sobriety than to get things done.

3:46pm : Day Count reflection: coming up on 365 days, 1 year, since i blew off a whole week. Feels good, but i need to avoid selfish pride. I do not want to credit this success to myself but rather what God has done to me, what God has done for me. It is only the transformation of my mind by him that has accomplished this.
