Saturday, 13 October 2012

Good morning and welcome to the weekend, everyone! May it be a good one, where we make progress on our procrastination issues, for all of us.

Since I have no idea how to do any fancy graphics or where to find any fancy quotations, perhaps NOT having them for a day will remind us how lucky we are when we *do* have them? Smile

EleanorBE's Saturday List

Thanks Salamander!

Here's my list, as a timetable. Including stuff I've done already - which isn't work related and isn't anything I'd ever procrastinate about (making a cake and taking it to a local event which I've been really looking forward to - wasn't ever going to be a problem...) - but it sort of reminds me that I /do/ need to do other things than work and that they take up time too!

Morning -

Ice Cake

Take cake to A.D.

Serve at A.D.

Meet J, J and N at A.D

Buy vinegar, honey and apples

Have lunch

Have a nap due to late night last night

2.30 - read L chapter

Decide what else needs doing to it and when.

2.45 ADMIN BURST

- find where other dtp reports are online

- read a few other depts' dtp reports on line

- jot down what needs to be in ours
Did something slightly different from this as when I looked online, what was required seemed different from what I'd expected (better in fact - seemed I was meant to upload a report I'd already virtually finished). Then had nightmare technical trouble uploading to new system so have just sent my report to Person In Charge and he can upload it! Now ten mins later than planned, grrr, so have adjusted list accordingly.

3.15

Continue L chapter to end.

Write down in diary when tasks related to this  chapter will happen.

Get up L2 chapter

Read through L2 chapter

Make notes in 'comments'

4.20 - ADMIN BURST - write up a section or two of dtp report

4.40 - tea break

5.00-6.30 La writing

6.30-7.00 ADMIN BURST

get email with prt

get email with module lists

add to pr
In fact I completely finished this!

7.00-8.00 work on intro

8.00-9.00 - dinner break

9.00-10.00 L2 chapter. Ran out of steam before this. But not a bad day.
