Busy day today.

I have some chores:
Laundry
Wash kitchen floor
Financial stuff
Deacon reminders
Haircut appt

3 contacts about A's funeral (one done)
List and collect books, plan (working on this now)

2 HF emails

I'm going to spend the eveing with friends

That will take most of the day, but I want to do a few other small things:
ES cell counts, email CE about protocol
VAD check/restore
Re-analyze my R8 data at a variety of thresholds
Plan for array analysis
Look for partial tumor images

OK, I guess I'll start with the kitchen floor and with the laundry.

Hazyjane check-in

First in a long time. Feel like I've been fumbling around in the dark. As the panic sets in, anxiety mounts, I finally hit the switch and... oh dear. Looks like I knocked quite a few things over while I was trying to find the light switch. Oh dear. And after being in the dark so long the light is hurting my eyes! I'm not feeling very grateful about being able to see because what I see distresses me!! BUT. Take a few breaths. Calm down. Rome wasn't built in a day. NOW. What's first?

  1. My top priority HAS to be: script-writing. I keep putting it off, I'm terrified, I don't have any ideas/I have too many ideas, I'm afraid of failure, of rejection, of scorn, of being 'found out'... But maybe if I acknowledge all those feelings I can get past them to the bit of me that LOVES writing, that's EXCITED by the challenge. Yes, find that. Use that. Go for it.
  2. I also desperately need a bath.
  3. And to follow up on some emails.
  4. Walking/feeding the dogs has to happen, regardless.
  5. Do a bit more decluttering, or rather, continue the interrupted decluttering session of yesterday: I don't think it counts as true decluttering if everything is still in the house just in a less hidden-away bit of it. Like the floor.
Also I want to use the chatbox today, and get into the habit of using it again, I found it really helpful when I first  discovered P-A. And I probably could get to grips with the phone-in, if I really set my mind to it.
Thanks.

PT CI Sat 2 Jun 2012

Check-In at 2:45am

Nice goal thought on the starter, Lennon. One of the notions that keeps me motivated.

Main tasklist for today:
1) Followup on notices and contacts - work
2) Followup on notices and contacts - nonwork events
3) Second Article for Newsletter A (edit from draft)
4) Banking / Bill payments
5) Groceries
6) Laundry started
7) Call friend to set plans for Sunday event
8) Bed earlier (pref. by midnight)

Followup at 2:40 am Mon 5 Jun 2012

Results over weekend

1 ) Some progress
2 ) Some progress
3 ) Done Sunday (another day late)
4 ) Still Pending
5 ) Done late Sunday
6 ) In Progress
7 ) Done (and was pretty much on time to Sun event with wife's help).
8 ) Goal not met but improved (earlier than most previous nights).

In general, getting things done "just in time," which is typical for me. An obvious place for improvement.
