Journey 11:30

Happy Monday!   Busy weekend, and I was late to work, partly because of traffic and partly because I overslept but of course I blamed traffic.    The weekend was a  blur of work, dogs, and children.   The only thing I've done this morning is plan the noon meeting and now it's time to print the agenda and get to it.   I'lll do better this afternoon :)

Agnus checking in - taxes done, yay!!

Thanks for all the encouragement last week as I worked through my fears using the PA Steps and Tools. The actual effort was a fugue of procrastination and work-binges,  BUT the fact it was happening before the due date rather than weeks, months or years after, is huge progress! Now I just need to get the check from the bank and mail the taxes, which I'd like to accomplish today so J and I can celebrate our 29th anniversary free of that burden - yay!

Corporate issues have forced all our employees to cut hours cut sharply until July 1.  While I love the relaxed pace, J&I really need to downsize spending just as sharply and that will take a level of commitment that I fear we lack.  So I need to do some 12 Step work around that as well as some real budget and accountability planning, and also find out what happens to my benefits if I fall below the pro-rated minimum FT hours.

Finally I have an invoice to produce for my voicework, and a pro-bono presentation to prepare this week.  Oh yeah, and still 275 items in my Inbox to clear - I lack sufficient billable hours to address many of them as well as I wish, but I'm trusting it's all working out somehow. Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

congrats on taxes done, and a day early to boot

Finding a way CI

8.45 am Monday

Thanks for starting us again today, lennon.

Quick check-in today, things have been going OK but haven't checked in for a while as I was in town at a work seminar and visiting/helping family.

I will make one phone call and then put together my lists for this week. Feeling ok about the tasks I have to do, which is nice. Although my husband loaded me up with another job (a little resentful, maybe I should have said no or postponed it).

Thank you all for being here.
