  • Grocery List
  • Think about goals
  • exercise - remember to wear pedometer
  • Mom's - called mom and decided not to go into town because of the shoppers!
  • Petsmart
  • Goodwill dropoff if they are open
  • Grocery Store
  • Put away groceries
  • Organize freezer, fridge, and canned goods if time
  • make chili for dinner
  • dishes

  • take a nap for one hour
  • work 9pm ~ 1 am
  • READ until I get sleepy and stay off computer after work

Be confident.  Stay focused.   One thing at a time.

What Am I Avoiding Now?

If I am becoming preoccupied with thoughts of procrastinating and working, I am probably avoiding something in the present, which troubles me. We compulsive procrastinators have a long history of using procrastination to avoid facing whatever is bothering us.

Abstaining may not solve the problem, but at least we do not procrastinate ourselves into a worse situation.

Sometimes we are aware of a difficult task that needs to be done, and we think we require extra pleasure time or distractions to fortify ourselves in order to accomplish the task. Remembering that excess procrastination incapacitates rather than strengthens is essential to our recovery. A short-term euphoria is not worth the long-term anguish, which inevitably follows loss of control.

We are learning to turn to a Power greater than ourselves when we have problems that we formerly avoided or tried to solve by procrastinating. Whatever our perplexity, God has the answer, if we will surrender our wills and listen for His guidance.

Teach me to trust You completely.

Rexroth Check In 14.55

Woke very tired with a cold and having had a bad night's sleep with pains in my shoulder and generally worrying about life.

Done:
Up prayer and reflection
Back to bed
Checked emails, posts and post
Read some useful stuff on the web and a lot of things which were of no use to me
Cleaned the kichen floor and washed up
Generally cleaned and cleared up

Todo:
Bath and wash hair
Put on washing machine
List what I have done since coming back - I keep thinking that I have done nothing and this is not true so I need to check reality

That will do

Regards Rexroth
