Procrastinators Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from chronic procrastination.
I'm feeling scattered and slow today, but I can still work!
Need to:
*Work on fellowship app (recommendations, pick up transcript, work for 1 hr on essays) (will do transcript + recommendation stuff soon)
*Notes + schedule (working on this now)
*Check on expts, collect (working on this now)
*Figure out a probe plan and aliquot, email LO
*Email about e-cad, email McC. (will do this soon)
*lunch with friend
*Submit histology
*Update geno. records(made some progress on this)
Starting with notes + schedule, then I'll do expts/collection.
committed to having the best day my recovery will allow.
need to make a list. have one big task, and several pressing tasks. hard to prioritize.
1:30pm
need to overcome resistance to do MIT.
what works for me best is, microburst/break-it-down. what is the next tiny step i can take on this task. getting out the file, eg.
5:18pm
kept on top of misc hi prio tasks.
made significant progress on MIT but now i have to wait. So i should go do the next-MIT but i feel resistance. god help me overcome that resistance. isaiah 40:28-31 has been really helping me out.
Woke in night and found it hard to sleep just getting used to being back home and I am glad to be home.
I used to post very short lists as I did not want to list things and not do them. I'm now committed to making longer complete lists of what I need to do to get on.
Todo:
x Get up
x Prayer and reflection
x Bath and wash hair
x Check emails and post
x Deal with old post from time away
x Wash up
Clean inside of fridge
x Clean kitchen floor
x Wash clothes from time away
x List things to do soon - like buying a spare pair of glasses as I lost these when away and if I buy them before losing my main pair life will be easier
x More unpacking and sorting and generally getting used to being back
