Thanks for beginning this--it is 11:30 where I am (California), and I am getting into my work day.

Today, I will:

  • shower & wash my hair
  • take splint & glasses case to dental appointment
  • buy stamps

  • post this at PA
  • post at SR
  • check my balance mindmap (bit)
  • load and run the dishwasher
  • file remaining bugs (in retrospect, this really needed to be broken down into smaller pieces)
  • submit timecard
  • cook soup
  • make 20 minutes of progress toward clearing kitchen sink
  • hunt food moderation notes (found some links)
  • do 15 minutes of Qi Gong
  • use the Balancer
  • take bedtime Rx

To improve my integrity and optimize job and landlord relationships, I will postpone spoken word listening and next audio purchase or podfic download until after I've filed the remaining bugs.

I will postpone visual reading of fiction (online or printed) until after I've filed all remaining bugs and told my landlord about the slow water heater leak. (not even close)

I would like to accomplish some of these things, too:

  • do a load of light laundry
  • do a Mood Log exercise or some other recovery-oriented activity
  • cook rhubarb
  • augment wordscore of dance music
  • journal re dance solo open issues
  • brainstorm: any offers for K?
  • send directions to J
  • start zine
  • be in bed with lights and sound off by 23:00 (chiropractor appointment tomorrow)

Journey 10:30 & update

I got here a bit earlier today!   I mentioned earlier that I was working on getting up just 5 minutes earlier and getting out the door 5 minutes earlier, and I did that today.   For some reason, it seems my mind takes the 5 minutes earlier as a challenge and works to achieve it; while 30 minutes earlier seems too overwhelming.   I'll stick to this for a couple weeks and then maybe try to eke out another 5 minutes.  

I had a very busy weekend which included some work work, housework and a pleasant evening out with my husband  - we don't do that often enough!  But I don't feel that I rested enough and I am tired and headachy today.   I will plan some down time soon.

I've been to the gym, read email and made my todo list.   I have a lot of work to do and I'm on the verge of getting stressed out BUT I will just focus on what I have planned to do today and today only.   I have planned well for today and now I just need to execute that plan.

Update 2:30 I'm at a difficult stage in my new project.  It is hard and I often have to ask for advice from people that have done it before.   I don't like this part and I'm looking for distractions to avoid working on it.   Checking in to get back on track.   I will 1) check on the additional orders 2) verify that names have all been udated  3) call J. about merge process.
