Took the morning off since I was still very tired from the weekend work. I usually recover from the overnighters in a day or two, but I was just exhausted this week. I slept in and relaxed this morning, then exercised and took a bath and I feel better now. I technically have the day off, but I''m going to work a few hours this afternoon since I have so much to do.

Had a hard time yesterday. Feeling very distracted by family worries, also fatigued and bored. Very concerned that soon-to-be-ex may renege on agreement to bring children to see me this summer. Starting to obsess over it. Needless to say, I have some serious trust issues with her at this point, and a comment one of my children made on the phone gave me a sense that maybe their mom isn't really planning to bring them here despite saying she would. Don't know for sure, but I don't have much recourse unless I want to involve my lawyer. The summer "window" will close before I am likely to get anywhere trying to enforce the parenting agreement. Like I said, I am obsessing. Sometimes being alone with my thoughts isn't the best thing.
Anyway, enough of that. Focusing on my procrastination behaviors, I wasn't able to meet any of my objectives yesterday or overnite.

I escaped being selected to sit on a jury yesterday, so that was good. Still no money coming in, although bills of course continue to find me without difficulty. The situation is getting critical. I continue to work and send out invoices, conserve money whenever possible and agitate to get paid by my debtors. I'm not sure what else to do. Oh, well. Griping about it won't help much, That's for sure. So...

Yesterday wasn't such a great day. Today I granted myself a "day off". Sometimes that may be a healthy thing to do, to settle down, think, regroup, or even find something enjoyable to do.
I took a drive with DS, went to a few stores and bought a few items. After we got home, we had dinner and then watched a DVD film.
I feel better now. And I want to say thank you for all supporting remarks. They have meant a lot to me. You are such a wonderful group of people.

Rosebud, Tuesday, July 12
I am not in the mood for making a list today. Not yet anyway. Yesterday was a difficult day, and I do not know what to do to make today better.
Take it as it comes? Take it easy? Be easy on myself and others? Find something entirely useless - but enjoyable to do?
But then - enjoyment is never "useless"!! I may come back and post as the day proceeds. Or I may not ...
