Good morning,

Today is the first day of a whole new month.

I am posting a picture of a "Flower Fly"on one of my "Sweet Williams". Color of the fly is just a "warning" that it wants to be left alone. It doesn't sting.

Journey 10:30 &

Happy Flower Friday!   I have the weekend off for a change but then looking forward to an extremely busy week next week.

I've been to the gym, made my todo list, and done email.   I have 6 MITs today.

Update noon #1 completed, also started making grocery list at lunch so I'll have a head start on tomorrow's chores.   The weekend plans are unclear as my daughter-in-law's grandfather passed away yesterday, so I don't know if they will want to come over for a meal or if I need to keep the kids or what, so I'll just be flexible.  I don't like being flexible.

MITs 2 and 3 should be quick and easy, so I'll go ahead and do them now in the after lunch slump.

Update 1:30 MITS 2 and 3 completed.   Break, then #4.

Update 2:15 took a break and made two phone calls, now #4.

3:30 #4 completed.   I'll work on #5 for 30 minutes, then leave - they are letting us go home early because of the 4th of July holidaty on monday.   Although I am actually planning to try to work a couple of hours at least on monday because I have so much to do next week.

TGIF
7/1 reminds me I can made this date a "new beginning" making it a fiscal year for me instead of panic and fear of half the year being gone.

Hoping for a grace filled day for all.

Hypatia's check-in

Lovely picture!

I haven't checked in all week because I've had so much to do I've been in completely reactive mode and working flat out.  I now have an in-office afternoon, but it's Fridya, and  my mind's occupied by orgniaisng a major house move over the next couple of weeks.

Oh well - here goes....

  • organise office so I can see the tops of all surfaces
  • T's report
  • AH reports
  • check e-mails for urgent problems
  • process in-tray
