To be always talking is against nature...he who boasts of what he will do succeeds in nothing... That is why he that possesses Tao does not linger.

Welcome to Wednesday

Findingaway check in

Thursday 12.10 pm (already!)

Thanks for the starter, Rexroth.

Just a quick check in, have to leave and be packed for 3 days in town at my mother's and do a couple of important work tasks and have lunch.

Praying that I get everything done now but even more important - that I am kind and considerate to all family members, even when they drive me crazy.

Kromer, vic, tracy-la - I won't be there for my wakeup as I don't have my own computer at my mother's house and it is basically a long weekend for me. But will try to be there for your wakeup on her computer when I can.

Thank you all for being here.

Rexroth thanks for the starter today!!!

Feel embarrassed and ashamed for not going to work because a) was beyond exhausted (princess) b) hoping to get fired and get unemployment and c) work for attorneys and they could possibly fight unemployment.

I felt this a.m that it was the right thing to do from above or it could have also been from Pittsburgh? Just got up and it's after 2:00PM.

Today needs to be light, unfortunately:
-resumes
-go outside with "kids"

MAY HP BLESS YOUR EVERY STEP!!

No Phone Meeting Tonight, Weds, 5/25/11

Hello all -

the Weds night phone meeting has been discontinued.

Sorry about any confusion or inconvenience.

Best - MC

"[People] need to be connected to each other. Courage comes out of relationship; it doesn’t come out of willpower." Peter Block, author of Servant Leadership: Choosing Service Over Self-Interest.

One foot

...in front of the other. Had a pretty good day yesterday, if longer than I had hoped. Had a stressful phone call after 11 PM that I really didn't need. Went to bed late with a lot on my mind and didn't rest well. Having a hard time getting started today. Have to focus on the next 15 minutes.

Goal 1: Start working my way through, working on each case for a 15 minute increment, then moving on to the next case. Everything gets "touched", even old and past due stuff. When through, circle back and start another round.

Goal 2: Take breaks for lunch and dinner, leave by 8 PM.

Goal 3: To bed by 10 PM. When fatigue builds up as the week progresses, my outlook dims.

Back to report.

Show up (done) TGIW!

Lots of struggles in many areas. Good meditation in 24 hr. meditation book:

“Never
relinquish any task or give up the thought of any task because it seems beyond
your power, only if you see it is not My Will for you.Think of the tiny
snowdrop-shoot in the hard ground. No certainty even that when it has forced
its weary way up, sunlight and warmth will greet it.
What a
task beyond its power that must seem. But the inner urge of Life within the
seed compelling it, it carries out that task".
Keep on keeping on... I almost forgot that slogan.
Thanks for being here PA(ers)

Hypatia's check-in

Thank you for the starter Rexroth.

I've actually got some office time today!  now to use it wisely, I hope

  • sort EEG
  • yesterday's reports
  • today's reports
  • book annual and study leave
  • e-mails
  • half an hour processing in-tray
  • actions from processing

Found the bottom of my in-tray after 1hr 45 minutes.  Ok so I didn't do anything else, but my desk looks a lot more attractive!
