This is the 27th day that I have followed through with the following:

I'm making a pledge to quit using the dating site(s) and Facebook for
90 days.  I had written this on my 43things account, but I wrote that I
wanted to avoid dating sites for a full six months, so I think 90 days
is reasonable for a dating site.  I also have a penchant for looking at
and stalking certain people repeatedly on the dating website and online,
which has prevented me from sanity.  Just all out stalking certain
people has been all out crazy; if I'm not stalking one person, it's
another person.   During times I've tried to quit the dating site before, I
have visited people's dating profiles, even while not registered on the
dating site.  So part of my whole thing with quitting dating sites is
also quitting stalking people's profiles that I've tried to date in the
past.  If I accidentally load a dating site, b/c I accidentally clicked
on something obviously that doesn't count.  You can hardly hang a cat on
the Internet without hitting a dating site ad.  Intention is
everything. 

In other words:

  • 90 days away from dating sites and facebook
  • 90 days of not stalking people's profiles of people I've tried to date in the past
  • and I'd like to add: 90 days of not stalking people online that
    I've tried to
    date in the past, which includes trying to IM them. (I am now back on
    day 9 for this as friday 02/04 I went on linkedin and checked out the profile
    of a person whom I had as a co-worker, on whom I had a crush/obsession
    about).
  • 56 days of exercise: I'm on day 8 for this.  All I need to do is
    exercise for 30 minutes a day: walking, swimming, hiking, biking,
    running, jogging, karate, yoga, a dance class.  Anything of those for at
    least 30 minutes.  And nothing else.  I can do the running plan, but I
    assure myself that each day that I show up to run, I will be okay, if
    all I do is ultimately choose to walk.  Whatever I feel comfortable with
    when I do. That way I don't intimidate myself.

 Show up (done) (again) showed up before but got cut off before I posted.

Insanity- doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.I have been reflecting on my "passive agressive" responses to coda issues which in turn lead to procrastination. Still trying to control, run the show, ("you can check out anytime you like, but you can never leave." )- the disease is cunning, baffling and powerful. What am I not doing? step 12, step 12 and step 12  or at least willing to do step 12.  Time to check out.

Really mad at myself. My Yoffee is on a medication that is really helping with her breathing and is my usual style the pills ran out today. I'm praying I can get this med at a regular pharmacy so I can, at least, have it for her tomorrow night, but I don't think so. I fear she will go back to coughing. I hate myself. Can't get this most important thing right. It will most likely have to be overnighted because we don't own a car to pick it up, so that means tomorrow or I'll take a car tomorrow night and go pick it up. I hate me.

I did over the weekend:
-workout (only 2x's this week, only once last week)
-washed rug
-cleaned bird cage

for the next 3 hours im going to study for my euro test.

then after midnight ill take care of either my poem i have to recite for humanities, the bio hw i need to finish, or my precalculus hw.

Journey 1 pm

Argh, I worked last night until 2 - got to bed about 3 and got up at 10 am.  But since 10 am I have done nothing but stare into space and drink coffee.  Time to get started, it's a beautiful day here, and I want to do enough that I'll be tired and ready to go to bed tonight!

Getting dressed now . ..then I'll do some laundry and stuff. 

2pm well, I'm dressed.  now for the laundry.  I'll be back when one load is folded and put away.  

4pm no laundry, I had lunch and did the dishes instead.  NOW laundry.  I'm moving pretty slow today lol

5 pm 2 loads of laundry folded and put away.  geez it's almost time to make dinner now. I'll fold the last load and then start dinner.   I'm looking forward to making dinner, I'm making stuffed chicken breast - they are stuffed with sausage then wrapped in bacon.   I don't know how healthy it is but it sounds delicious.

Getting off to a late start. MIT for today is cashing my cheque and paying mom owed money, as well as balancing budget. I've been avoiding calling a friend forever, I should probably try doing that today but not looking forward to it =/ anyway, flox1 and get ready for work.

Forgot to take flox1 before leaving home. Took gp1 now. Kind of stressed, busy day with lots of deadlines, lagging trainee and demanding new manager.

Pretty pleased with myself right now :) cashed cheque, created Internet card, bought meds and paid mom for the things I owed her, leaving one last debt. I also managed to finished all my work on time even though there was a lot to get through. I took gp2 and flox2, picked up Sis from gym, and am now ready to chillax in bed to read. Not going to balance budget today, will do it tomorrow.
