Thx for being so positive!!

clement ci

10:37 check in. u ppl always encourage me :D

now my challenge: have my quiet time avoiding both extremes:

- not having it
- rushing the whole time anxious to get back to work

- getting into it and distracted on many delicious god things
- getting absorbed for hours

ironically i am going to need gods help to strike that balance. and i will b tempted in both directions.

It's now 10:53

well i got distracted. its 11:46. try again but be done by 12 no matter what. i shd set reminders.

Journey 9 am ugh

Not feeling so hot today . . my daughter has had a cold all week and I think I'm geting it.  I woke up freezing cold with a splitting headache and now I feel wierd and light headed.   I skipped the gym but I am at work.   I was already planning to leave early today as I'm working this weekend.    Reading email and making todo list now.   I think I'll treat myself to a coke, that should help.

(Jo)

Hey Jo, remember the great starter on Wednesday?:The permission slip is still good today. I am sure all your PA friends will sign your permission slip to take care of yourself.!!! Hoping you feel better soon.

You are ALLOWED to be feeling like this.

You are ALLOWED to take care of yoruself when you are sick.

You are ALLOWED to not try your hardest all the time.

Get some rest.

Hey jo. Fighting a cold myself, sounds like the same symptoms too!  Maybe it's just a reminder to be kind and caring to our bodies as well as our mind.

Wishing you a speedy recovery and a productive day! :)

Crazybug CI

Battling this cold all week I haven't gotten much done at home or work.  At work today feeling a little better but not great.  Realized that whenever I try to go at things 'straight on' that I feel avoidance creeping in. If I can approach them 'sideways' it's not as bad. Don't know if this makes sense, but that's how I'm going to try to approach tasks today.

  • Issue two keys
  • Bookkeeping
    • Pay bills
    • Enter receipts
    • Pay mileage
    • Deposit checks
    • issue report
  • Review article

Today - forgiving myself, being gentle with myself and working to the best of my ability.

Wishing everyone a blessed and productive day from whatever point that you're at right now.

(Crazybug)

Same permission slip for you that Jo has. Hope you feel better soon>

Show up :)

Vic 9/24

Show up (done). think it through

Teen trouble yesterday, but my HP was with me, if I would have shut down, he would have been shut out. This is my "de-isolation room"  where I can start to connect.

Thanks for being here. Will make a plan.

Inspirational Vic

((hugs)).  You're a daily inspiration to me Vic.  Though I don't have teen issues to deal with yet, your perserverence helps inspire me to overcome my personal challenges.  Thank you for being you!

(Crazybug)

Thank you. This is the only "place" in my life I could perseve in showing up and the times I wanted to leave, or shut down, pa friends that I never knew I had, like real angels, encouraged me. It is the only place there is any real meaning for me. I have truely connected with people who are not pretentious, where else? and never be late? etc., etc. So grateful. Thank you crazybug and PA friends both known and unknow. To be accepted is so huge, and the spark that passes on to others. (including my teens- so it is really huge)

time to call my "work buddy". The phone companies probably wonder what we talk about for hours and the truth is we don't even talk, but hp, for some reason helps us work when our phones are connected

SeattleLarry's CI - 12:10AM After Midnight Night List

chores - .5 hour

Project A - 1.5 hours

Project B - .75 hour

Project C - .5 hour

Project D - 1 hour

estimate 4.25 hours -I have a goal to force these things done faster.

Gonna make strong coffee in a mason jar and pour it through a filter for motivational factor.  Focus on the work and what matters and ignoring all distractions in the outside world are what keeps the freight train moving.

cat bathing

You know I wasn't looking forward to my day but at least I don't have to bathe a cat.

'You become what you think about most of the time.' - Brian Tracy

Re: cat bathing

Yeah, that wasn't the highlight of my day =/ I survived it though, so all's well that ends well :D

Bathing cat

Whew! that gave me a big laugh!  That will be my motivation today " at least I'm not having to bathe a cat!". :)

Re: Bathing cat

*Sigh* bathing the cat might be more perilous, but washing the litter box is by far more unpleasant -_- don't get a pet - when you end up with the gritty cleaning duties, you begin to wonder whether they're worth it after all.
