My Day Today

I want to thank my Higher Power for this program, this website, the telephone and online meetings, and my life.

I want to thank lucky for starting the trend.

Things I have done today.

1. Went to the 7 a.m. telephone DA meeting

2. Went to 9 a.m. group therapy

3. Went to 10:15 individual therapy

4. Went grocery shopping

5. Put frigerated groceries away

6. Took a nap

7. Took shower

8. Got dressed

9. Fixed breakfast for the next two days

7. Ate breakfast

Things I will do today

1. Type a letter to my Higher Power

2. Do my numbers

3. Post Al-Anon literature for the next two days

4. Put up non-frigerated groceries

5. Make bed

6. Fix and eat dinner

7. Completed Chapter One in my business book

8. Read the leadership book

Journey noon

My morning was very busy with back to back meetings so I'm late checking in!   I brought an extra sweater and a lap blanket today as I thought I was gonna freeze to death in here on  Tuesday.  Now I'm pretty comfortable.   After some time goes by I'll sneak in my little heater but they are technically not allowed, so I don't want to be too brazen about it .  I've seen some around though so I won't be the only one. I know that I'm cold natured so I don't want to make everyone else uncomfortable by blasting out heat though.  We'll see . ..

I just had a quick lunch at my desk and now I'm going to get back to work on my project plan.   I got a LOT done on it last night, and I'd really like to have it completed before my 3:00 meeting.

  • D/O kids at 8:30
  • Read, relax
  • Bed by 10:30 (gotta go to bed earlier if getting up earlier)

Crazybug CI

Ug. Cold has me feeling worse today. Avoiding seeing the doc for several very valid reasons.

However, despite my body feeling rotten there is no reason I can't use my (questionably!) healthy mind. :P  I am giving myself permission to NOT do housework.

So here are a few small goals:

  • Call boss - DONE
  • send keys to two clients
  • rewiew article for boss and make brilliant and insightful comments :)
  • Try to remotely logon to server and see if I can access program 

Just writing that list made me feel empowered. First I'll tackle the keys.  Wishing everyone a blissfully productive day!

Laptop diagnostics + order new netbook if I can't figure it out (figured out what netbook I want, but think I'll wait until computer totally gives up the ghost...in the meantime, early next week I'll shop for stuff to repair the heatsink)
