Had a breakthrough yesterday, took a day off without guilt, punishment or too much self-pity!! Really grateful for that!! Also WORKED OUT YESTERDAY!! YAY!!!

I awoke this morning to feeling really bad about an interveiw I had yesterday. It went "naturally" amazing and I was almost sure of getting it. This morning I felt like someone maybe my old boss or our landlords (because these attorney's know them) may have said bad things about me. There are lots they could say. Don't know if this is truth or not, but t makes me feel horrible that they think badly about me now.

I'm panicked about no money coming in on my part. I have an interview tomorow with an agency that might be able to help, but if we do get help it would take about a month for things to happen.

Today is a work day, and I will cut out about 5:00/5:30, have so much to do and am in overwhelm.

Will start ez:
-been sending out resumes
-took girl for a.m. walk
-went to a meeting
-work on step work & finding a DA sponsor
-finish project for ML

I was not very productive yesterday on my to-do list but actually got a few other things done that needed effort. But it was not stellar.  On the up side, I have a simpler time with today's to-do list b/c it looks a lot like yesterday's!  Only now, more crowded...

  • personal and prayer planning
  • reduce Inbox to <10 emails - this is a huge procrastination hook for me b/c many items in those backlogged emails require ACTION that I am resisting. I will chat through each email where that is the case today, and keep moving.
  • 11:30 read SS/MM to prep for 12n call
  • 12n call re SS/MM
  • review proj brg status/promises made and sched accordingly
  • 3:30 granddaughter visit - walk the dog, take her to soccer practice
  • 5:30 back home, microburst the paper piles on my desk a little before dinner

    I think that that's all I have time for today, and maybe even too much. I am getting anxious about the pile of uncategorized receipts and unchecked mail again, but don't know when I can get to them without another late night and I feel too tired for that now.  Seems that lately I'm experiencing consequences from my poor estimation of how long things take. (God, please help me!)

I want to thank my Higher Power for this program, this website, the telephone and online meetings, and my life.

Things I did today

1. Went to the 7 a.m. telephone DA meeting

2. Sent out some Al-Anon literature

3. Sent out a sharing in a yahoogroup

Things I will do today

1. Take a shower

2. Get dressed

3. Get my medicine ready

4. Get my other things ready

5. Prayer and meditation

6. 12-Step reading 

7. Go to get my stuff to the hospital to get my debt taken care of

8. Eat breakfast

9. Get my medicine refilled

10. Go to the Coumadin Clinic

11. Print out some of my textbook

12. Go to work

13. Eat dinner

14. Eat snack

15. Go to bed

16. Get some stuff together

17. 25 minutes of decluttering

18. 8:30 a.m. telephone PA meeting

19. 9:45 a.m. telephone CLA meeting

20. 10:30 a.m. 12-Step meeting

Show up (done) Practice being mindful whenever I can.After Looking at my "thoughts" helped me keep the focus on "me" and "present",it was helpful to use Angus "substitution method" of replacing healthy thoughts and prayers.

Today is my son's 16th b day, I can't believe it!! Looking at photos this morning. My thoughts are sadness at how fast he grew up. Using mindfulness, I will replace them with gratitude and hapiness for him.

Rexroth Check In

Woke very tired. I've a friend coming over later and am so glad that I did so many things to prepare yesterday - this is recovery and I'm grateful to the programme and everyone here.

My larger plan is to say goodby to friend today as she is off on holiday and will be coming back after I go away.

Then I'm putting all my energy into getting finished up and getting away.

Up prayer and reflection
Checked emails and forum posts

Washup and tidy a few bits
Make salad
Vacumme bedsit and put a few bits away
Get out craft work for photo
Bath and wash hair
Out to buy yogurt which I forgot yesterday
Phone friend at midday to arrange whether we walk or not depending on the weather
