3:15 PM: Have just anxiously procrastinated for 2 hours trying to avoid completing some new job paperwork that 'had to' go out by FedEx by 4 PM today. Just thinking about it gives me butterflies in my stomach. I think it won't happen now, and will get put off until Monday. I have been sitting on this since June, occasionally doing something tiny, then setting it aside. Noinetheless, I WILL get it done today, even if it doesn't get mailed until Monday. I DO NOT want the pressure of having this hang over my head. This is not a good precedent heading into a new job where I want things to be different. Okay, no work, no nothing until this is out. Computer (my main 'decompressor') OFF.
Goal: Finish new job paperwork, pack it in FedEx envelope. WHEN finished, see if there is a later drop off place than 4 PM for today. If not, it goes out Monday.
If you want a bridge meeting to keep you on track...I am around. have kid duty today and am hoping that I don't need to take the boys to the X Games (they went yesterday and I took them since it's close to my office) -- but I'll have my cell phone in any event.
A MUCH better day than yesterday. Apart from 45 minutes of procrastination in the middle of the day, I worked the highest priority stuff, and accomplished a lot.
Happy weekend! I have a lot to do this weekend, and I don't wanna get started. I did go online and pay my bills for the 1st. and that reminds me, it's time for the gentle reminder. I'll go do that and come back.
OK I'm back and on the right day
pay bills
finish upgrade prep
make grocery list
visit mom
petsmart
groceries
straighen house if time
dinner
dishes
upgrade tonight
go to bed as soon as it's done; zoo tomorrow!
Busy day, work and shopping and don't really have much time for house cleaning, but I'll try to give it a straighten. I cleaned the bathrooms thoroughly last weekend so they'll keep, DD will do laundry and DH will probably vacuum.

Done:
up prayer and reflection
checked emails and postings
Todo:
x plan week
x deal with snailmail when if there is any
x email friend who is ill
x email landlords to confirm maintenance requests
x email solicitor re response to notice
x write letter to IC asking if they received previous letter and put together ready to post on Monday
x find camera guarantee and see if I am registered with them online - if not send email
x end of month financial statements
x email professional body - have been putting this off
x look at insurance file - in the early hours of the morning I thought I knew what to do - now I am awake I have forgotten
It is all admin and I don't know how I have accumulated so much.
Done all above and also:
Chat on phone with friend and arrange to meetup on Monday
Sort out and tidy stuff to put away
Look for stuff to take away - where is it?
I have done admin all day and I feel stuffed with it. Now I have one complex letter to write to Insurance Ombudsman and some letters (but not yet) regarding the hospital.
So I didn't rest and started finding old accounts to throw out and spent a happy few hours tearing up papers and getting rid of them and creating space physical and otherwise in my life.
Todo:
prayer and reflection - no I think I've done that

Much to do today to catch up on missed items this whole week. So feeling pangs of "all to be done today" with tonight's self imposed deadline
So working through all that. I think I may need a "whole shelf of bookends" today.
Will try and update this and use chatbox. Will check back frequently in there.
If you want a bridge

Happy Sat
Thanks SO much -- just knowing we are all there (HERE) for each other is actually inspiring too. Will try and work through it solo. More..'LA'ter ;-)
