Procrastinators Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from chronic procrastination.

Hi, new here

Hi guys, my name is Charlie, and I... am a chronic procrastinator. *claps* *cheers*. Thank you.

I joined procrastinators anonymous since I procrastinate a lot
online. I
browse web forums, videos, articles, and when I play games, I go till
the wee
hours. It's so bad, I refuse to get internet in my dorm. The only times I
am
guaranteed to work at 50% efficiency are when I have other people to
hold me
accountable or I'm at a job or class.

What's worse is, I'm a computer software engineering student.I have to work around the computer, and the major is not exactly easy. Due to my procrastination, I've failed a course.

I am currently getting better at avoiding my computer addiction. I just don't install games, or when I do, I try to delete them quickly. That's why I wanted to work on my procrastination.

Anyways, thanks for reading this. Feel free to message me, for whatever reasons (spam excluded).

Welcome

Welcome to PA!  I am new myself.  Keep coming back!

Hi Hidden-Motives

Well done for admitting and coming here. I so wish I done anything even remotely like this in college....back in the early 80s!  Wish you the best.

Welcome.

Thanks for sharing your story with us. I, too, had incredible procrastinations while in collge that cost me tens of thousands of dollars in scholarships.  And yet...I'm still a procrastinator.  Coming here is a great first step in trying to change your behaviors. I don't think procrastination will heal itself, despite all my fervent wishing.

Just know that everyone here can relate you your situation. Try to use the tools at PA, call ins, chatbox, check ins. They really do seem to help a lot of folks. Myself included.

Welcome!

Hey thanks, I'm starting to

Hey thanks, I'm starting to use the checkins but can someone explain to me what a PA, and call in is?

to hidden motives ...

PA = P.A. Procrastinators Anonymous.
